Voltaire's Crypt of Impertinent Jewish Fables

Folks, Voltaire said of the Jews, "You have surpassed all nations in impertinent fables, in bad conduct and in barbarism. You deserve to be punished, for this is your destiny." Good reason he surely had.  Would love to have input on what "impertinent fables" he was aware of.  Here's my list of the ones we've been stuffed with.  The first is a beauty.

He establishes that horrific and much-publicized accounts of anti-Jewish pogroms in the Russian empire during the 1880s were grossly exaggerated, and debunks the widely accepted charge that these anti-Jewish outbursts were rooted in religious bigotry and intolerance.

The recurring friction between Jews and non-Jews through the ages, Smith persuasively argues, is due primarily not to the defects or iniquities of non-Jews, but rather is a lamentable but nevertheless quite understandable reaction to Jewish behavior. The most galling features of this behavior, he contends, are rooted in the distinctively tribalistic character of the Jewish religion as laid out in the Talmud and the Old Testament.

At that moment the man was killed. In the choice of time and victim the crime startlingly resembles four others, which also struck down unifiers and conciliators just when they seemed likely to impede the process of universal revolutionary destruction. Alexander II of Russia emancipated twenty million serfs in 1861 and pursued his work of reconciliation until he was murdered in 1881; of that crime Soviet Communism and Political Zionism were born. In 1913 the Archduke was killed at Serajevo; he had the reputation of a unifier and conciliator who might have saved the Austro-Hungarian Empire from war and disintegration, had he lived. In 1934 Alexander of Yugoslavia was killed at Marseilles; he was a unifier who could not have been turned from his throne by an ally, as his little-known eighteen-year-old son Peter was in effect in 1945 by Mr. Churchill, and a Communist dictator set in his place. In 1948 Count Bernadotte was murdered as he completed a plan of truce and pacification in Palestine. (Far & Wide p. 27-28)

The study of Lincoln's murder did more than anything hitherto to convince me that it is a continuing process, with an enduring organization behind it. It shares identical and recognizable features with the later series of murders, which all led to the spread of the area of destruction. 8.  Hitler Tries to Take Over the World and Exterminate Jews.  A whopper.  When enough folks pull this plug, the dike is gonna collapse.  Benjamin Freedman explains much.  Weichardt's Under Two Flags is also a revelation for those of us raised on textbooks and TV.  Jim Condit Jr.'s Final Solution to Adolf Hitler details many other problems with the Nazi Boogieman Scarecrow.  Prof. Frederick Toben and Fred Leuchter detail the problems with "the Holocaust."  Just came across this gem from Dalton's "Goebbels on the Jews" Part I: "First is the fact that no ‘extermination order’ from Hitler has ever been discovered—nor even any tangible reference to such.5 Hilberg was reduced to nonsense in his “mind reading” statement of 1983,6 and even as late as 2003 he was compelled to write:

The process of destruction…did not, however, proceed from a basic plan. … The destruction process was a step-by-step operation, and the administrator could seldom see more than one step ahead. … In the final analysis, the destruction of the Jews was not so much a product of laws and commands as it was a matter of spirit, of shared comprehension, of consonance and synchronization. Why are the Jews hated? It is the inevitable result of their laws; they either have to conquer everybody or be hated by the whole human race.

You have surpassed all nations in impertinent fables, in bad conduct and in barbarism. You deserve to be punished, for this is your destiny.
