Egypt clarified

Media lies about Egypt are so confusing that the Western masses don’t care, and don’t read media articles.  Here’s the current status...

Three players are vying for supreme power in Egypt.

[1] The military junta

[2] The Muslim Brotherhood

[3] Israel, the West, and GCC Arab emirs.

#1 and #2 have both vowed to continue serving #3, but each also wants supreme power for itself alone.

The West has already installed Brotherhood members in 50 percent of Egypt’s newly elected parliament. This has reduced some of the junta’s power, and has made the Brotherhood happy -- but the West also wants to install its own puppet as Egypt’s new supreme dictator. This is unacceptable to both the junta and the Brotherhood, each of which wants its own supreme leader.

The junta is led by Field Marshal Mohamad Hussein Tantawi, who is angry at the West for wanting him out, and for supporting the Brotherhood. In Dec 2011 one of Tantawi's deputies, Ms. Fayza Abul Naga (Egyptian minister of planning and international cooperation) ordered the arrest of 43 Western agents (including 19 Americans) who work for NGOs. Other Western agents fled to the US Embassy for protection. The agents included five Serbs, two Germans and three Arabs. The remaining people are Egyptians on the US payroll. Egyptian police confiscated everything from desks, cell phones, documents and computers to office safes.

The targeted NGOs include long-time CIA / Mossad fronts such as the International Republican Institute (headed by John McCain), the National Democratic Institute, Freedom House, the American University in Cairo, Germany’s Konrad-Adenauer Foundation, and so on.

The purpose of these “pro-democracy” groups is to crush democracy and install a new supreme puppet dictator.

The Western agents are no longer in jail, but they may not leave Egypt, or roam the country. The USA told Egypt’s junta to let them go, or the USA would cut the $1.3 billion per year to Egypt.

The junta refused, knowing the USA dare not act on this threat, since that $1.3 billion per year bribe money is the only thing that keeps Egypt at the mercy of Israel. If the money is cut, then the Egyptian government will start serving the Egyptian masses instead of serving Israel, the GCC, and the West. Egypt’s junta is threatening the agents with a trial and imprisonment, and will not release them until the USA stops pressing to install its own supreme dictator.

Meanwhile the Brotherhood has not opposed the arrests of Western agents. The Brotherhood appreciates all the help the West has given it, but rejects US demands that all of Egypt accept a new Western-installed dictator. The Brotherhood wants to install its own dictator. So does the junta.

The West dares not cut that $1.3 billion per year. Therefore today (10 Feb 2012) the West (i.e. Standard & Poor's) once again downgraded Egypt's long-term credit rating. That’s the third downgrade since Mubarak fell. Egypt now holds a B rating with S&P, the same rating held by Cambodia, Ghana and Burkina Faso. This dramatically increase Egypt’s debt, and makes it much more expensive for Egypt to borrow money.  The purpose is to squeeze the government into accepting a US-installed dictator.

Now the Egyptian government (especially the junta) says Egypt faces “conspiracies” (i.e. US pressure) that seek to topple the state and spread chaos. In a statement read on state TV today, the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces (which took power when Mubarak stepped down on 11 Feb 2011) said it would not bow to (U.S.) pressures to accelerate the transition to civilian rule, meaning a US-installed dictator.

Meanwhile the Egyptian masses-at-large don’t want the junta or the Muslim Brotherhood. They want a genuine government. They are calling for a rolling general strike to begin Saturday (11 Feb 2012).

The junta, the West, and the Brotherhood don’t want a strike, since it will empower the masses.

Egypt is deadlocked. Therefore the US / Israeli / GCC Arab plan is to squeeze the masses so hard that the masses, the junta, and the Brotherhood finally accept whatever dictator the West chooses to install.
