Iran once again offers to end its nuclear program

The Iranian nuclear issue is a smokescreen for the real reason why the West wants to destroy Iran, which is that Iran’s people are not sufficiently enslaved by “austerity” and the globalist matrix. 

Iran has repeatedly offered to end its nuclear program if the West will remove its blockade. The West has repeatedly refused.

“West” means the “P5+1” nations, which include China, France, Germany, Russia, and Britain.

The “+1” is the USA, which controls the show.

In the spring of 2005, Iran offered to convert all of its enriched uranium to fuel rods (making it impossible to use it for nuclear weapons) if the “P5+1” ended the blockade.  France and Germany agreed, but Britain vetoed the deal at the insistence of the United States.

Iran has consistently offered to end its nuclear enrichment, most recently at a meeting in Istanbul five days ago (19 Sep 2012) between EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton, and Iran’s leading nuclear negotiator Saeed Jalili in Istanbul

Ali Asghar Soltanieh discussed this with the Inter Press News Service. Mr. Soltanieh had previously conducted Iran’s negotiations with the IAEA in Tehran and Vienna.

Soltanieh said, “We are prepared to suspend enrichment to 20 percent, provided we find a reciprocal step compatible with it.”

NOTE: Weapons grade U-235 must be enriched to at least 90 percent.  Plutonium must be enriched to at least 93 percent. Other nuclear materials must be enriched to an even higher percent. Nuclear power plants do not need enrichment to 20%, but Iran does this for non-military uses, such as making isotopes to fight cancer. When Iran offers to "suspend enrichment to 20 percent," Iran means no medical isotpes. I suspect that Iran has offered to end its nuclear program altogether, and to not enrich to even 3 percent for nuclear power plants, but Iranian politicians do not want to admit this to their own people. They must "save face." Besides, ending their nuclear program altogether would make no difference.

Iran has offered again and again to accede to imperialist demands, only to be rejected. During two rounds of negotiations in Istanbul and in Baghdad in May and June, the USA and Germany said Iran must not only end its nuclear program, but also ship its entire stockpile of uranium out of Iran, and totally close down the Fordow enrichment facility.

Iran asked, “If we do that, will you end the blockade?” The answer was no.

IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE

This explains why national leaders refuse to leave office even when their nation is being destroyed, or is about to be destroyed. They know it will make no difference. Saddam Hussein told W. Bush he would step down if the USA cancelled its plans to invade Iraq. Bush responded that it was “too late.”

Gaddafy could have stepped down and lived in comfortable retirement, but he knew this would have made no difference.

Syria’s Assad is the same. Iran could totally end its entire nuclear program today, but it would make no difference.

Foreign leaders can do anything that imperialists demand. It makes no difference. Once the imperialist powers decide to attack, they will not take “we surrender” for an answer.

Naturally the corporate media conceals all this, and portrays the targeted leaders as “evil dictators” bent on “conquering the world.” 

The standard NATO imperialist tactic is to first weaken a nation via a blockade, and conduct “peace talks” while NATO makes plans to destroy the targeted nation altogether.

Israel is the same. Whenever Israel indicates a sudden increase in its willingness to hold “peace talks,” it means that Israel is preparing another bombardment of Gaza, or the West Bank, or Lebanon.
