Spanish lawyer sues Obama for killing Osama Bin Laden

Of course many of us believe that Osama Bin Laden died many moons ago from renal failure.

Nevertheless, perhaps Obama's legal team can raise this as a defense...

Spanish lawyer Danial Foil filed a case against U.S President Barack Obama at the International Criminal Court (ICC). He accused him of committing crimes against humanity when he ordered the assassination of Osama Bin-Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda.

...

In his complaint, the lawyer said that Bin-Laden should have been prosecuted and not killed for the crimes that he committed.

"I have not been paid to defend al-Qaeda," said Foil

He makes a very good point.

But naturally, prosecution was not an option since it would necessarily give rise to the inconvenient fact that the US has no evidence that Bin Laden was involved in 9/11.

There are a number of possibilities here:

  1. Daniel Fiol is naive and seriously believes the official story.
  2. He is trying to make a name for himself and the truth can be damned.
  3. The filing of a case at the ICC is a smokescreen designed to breathe some life into the official story and to give it some badly-needed credibility.

I vote for 3.
