VT man tries to kill Muslim family to "protect the US"
Kyle A. Thurber, 32, was arrested on Friday outside the Brattleboro business owned by the family, which lives in Dummerston. Police say he had a loaded rifle when he was taken into custody.
Wow - just in the nick of time.
Thurber entered his plea in Vermont District Court on Monday to two felony counts of aggravated stalking with a deadly weapon. He was ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation at the Vermont State Hospital.Authorities say Thurber apparently had been living out of his car recently.
Brattleboro police say in an affidavit that Thurber stalked the family over three days. The family moved to a seasonal home in New Hampshire because they feared for their safety.
Police say Thurber told officers that he believed the family members were terrorists because they spoke Arabic to each other. He allegedly suspected they were plotting an explosion in the north end of Brattleboro and perhaps the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant in Vernon.
“Thurber stated that he thought the (family) should no longer be able to breathe,” Brattleboro Police Officer Mark Carignan wrote in his affidavit. “He said that they needed to be killed to protect the United States.”
Now, where did he get that idea???
The first thing on every freedom loving American's agenda should be wresting control of OUR MEDIA from monied interests - they are DESTROYING OUR LIVES.

i am much more concerned about the implication about gun control. i can only imagine how this will be used to disarm americans. then it 'game over'. 80 million gun owners will kill 0 people today.

I'm curious about all the regular readers thoughts on various Muslim religous leaders worldwide calling for the death of non-muslims worldwide, to hate, to kill....no news stories about that hmm? And yet you post something about one homeless man who was most likely completely deranged and likely unable to read.
As an aside, I too agree about media control, but i'm curious why there's never any stories about Muslim "hate", and only Jewish "hate".

I like what you guys do...it provides an alternative, and I see that that is the point, but I just find the irony too hard to resist to not point out that the same things you criticize the mainstream media for, you too are also slightly guilty of ;)

No one pays me to do this. And I am not a politician. So, no one can accuse me of doing what I do for political gain.
I do what I do in my spare time to fill a gap that is ultimately causing extreme amounts hardship (up to and including death and destruction) for a boat-load of people.
What's the point in covering what the mainstream media already covers incessantly and religiously for political and economic gain?
I never said that there are no misguided Muslims in the world. There certainly are - but, not nearly in the disproportionate numbers that the media portrays.
Similarly, there are a lot more intolerant Jews out there than the media cares to admit.
