In Judaism is Hinduism Avodah Zarah (idolatry or polytheism in Hebrew)?

The question of one God versus many gods confounds every westerner who approaches Hinduism. On the apparent level, Hinduism has many gods who are depicted by murtis, statues or idols. Idolatry, of course, is not only condemned in the Biblical second commandment, it even contradicts the much less doctrinaire seven Noahide commandments that are said to be obligatory for all descendants of Noah, which is to say everyone.

Does Agudath Israel Of America Set The Brooklyn D.A.'s Policy On Reporting Child Sex Abuse?

New York State law says that mandatory reporters who suspect a child has been sexually abused have to report that suspicion to police or to child services. Agudah says Jewish mandatory reporters should not follow New York law, and a spokesperson for the Brooklyn DA refuses to say the DA will enforce the law against mandatory reporters who follow Agudah's dictate rather than the law.

Strange and Curious Sects: Chabad Messianism

Schneerson died in 1994 without naming a successor, and the Chabad movement has been without a Rebbe ever since. There's a small but vocal and growing faction of Lubavitchers who believe their last, deceased Rebbe was the Moshiach - i.e., the Messiah, the prophesied hero of the Bible who will unite and rule over the Jews and usher in God's kingdom on Earth. Being deceased would seem to be an obvious disqualifier for messianic status, Schneerson's devotees, commonly referred to as "mesichists".

'US seeks to turn 9/11 into Holocaust'

After Iran raises doubts about the official US account of the 9/11 attacks, an Iranian lawmaker says Washington intends to turn the event into a 'sacred' issue that cannot be debated.
"In that case, no country or individual will dare to make a word about the incident and the US will then be able to pursue its policies as it wants in the future," he added.

Nobaveh further stated that the main documents proving the fake nature of the 9/11 attacks are currently prepared by American citizens themselves.
The Iranian lawmaker pointed out to the Qur'an desecration in the US on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks and said, "They wanted to imply that Muslims caused the attacks and therefore the US could wage a war against them."

According to Nobaveh, most American people do not believe in the US government's explanations about the 9/11 incident.

Anti-Israel sentiment grows in US

The opinion poll revealed the number of Americans who think the US needs to support Israel dropped to 51 percent in July from 58 percent in June and 63 percent in August 2009.

In Germany, 50 percent of the respondents said they had "very cold" or unfavorable feelings toward Israel, compared with 39 percent who said they experienced "cold" or "very cold" feelings toward Palestinians.

In Sweden, the situation was similar to that in Germany, with 49 percent saying their feelings toward Israel were "cold" or "very cold."

In France, those sympathizing with Israel did not go beyond 24 percent and the number, though narrowly, was outweighed by 31 percent who said that felt "cold" or "very cold" feelings toward it.

They said that the prominent religious Zionist rabbi should be tried for allegedly committing indecent acts by force against minors.

Police investigators said that they have talked to a number of people and two boys have agreed to testify that the rabbi had sexually assaulted them between 2005 and 2006 when they were minors.
