Ruling in favor of Transocean and BP, a federal judge on Thursday dismissed third-party environmental claims in a giant pleading bundle in the Deepwater Horizon oil spill litigation, saying the fact that the oil flow has stopped makes those lawsuits irrelevant.

Navy Secretary Ray Mabus, who doubles as President Barack Obama's point man on Gulf Coast oil spill recovery, is pressing America's armed services to consume as much Gulf seafood as possible. A large-scale national marketing campaign will use $30 million in BP money and millions more in federal dollars, to reassure restaurants and markets across the country that Gulf seafood is safe.
Ewell Smith, executive director of the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board, said he would like to see Gulf seafood as the choice throughout the public domain, "whether it's the military or prison systems or school systems."

OSHA describes 2-butoxyethanol's odor as a "mild, pleasant, sweet, fruity". Corexit 9527, the MOST TOXIC and DANGEROUS oil dispersant compound, contains 2-butoxyethanol. The video shows an unmarked boat with two huge barrels attached to it, with a sweet odor surrounding the vessel.
Natural gas is scented with a nasty smell (the chemical Mercaptan) so we can tell when there is a leak. This warns people NOT to breathe it. HOWEVER, the chemical dispersant (Corexit) is scented with a sweet smell from the 2-butoxyethanol, which isn't perceived as a dangerous smell. This sweet aroma would cause more people to willingly breathe it in on shore, unalerted to the danger in their air.

The New Orleans house I'm sitting in at the moment is finished with meticulous detail: cypress crown molding and trim, recycled loblolly-pine posts, Art-Deco Oriental rugs. To my left, there's a bathroom with wood wainscoting and a refinished 100-year-old claw-foot bathtub on a decorative-tile-lined platform. Almost exactly five years ago, all of this was submerged by toxic floodwaters.

The private, foreign International Monetary/Banking Cartel controls its puppets in Washington as it controls its oil company executives. And everything the Cartel does is anti-life, there are absolutely no exceptions; and their pretended Gulf oil clean-up is a glaring case in point.
