What I am going to write here is controversial and may come as a surprise. I hope you will consider my argument with an open mind. Rather than bowing to Jewish chiliastic fantasies and singing praises to them, and instead of demonizing Arab people and Muslims as a whole as if they were subhumans unworthy of our love and forgiveness, Christians should instead be preaching the resurrected Christ to them. Meanwhile, true patriotic, freedom-loving right-wing conservatives should return to minding their own national affairs, and pursuing the interests of their own people rather than those of powerful lobbies, including the likes of AIPAC.
CHRISTIANITY

The Pew Poll did ask the litmus test question, "Is the state of Israel the fulfillment of Biblical Prophesy?" The fact that 42% said "no" was a surprise and strongly suggests that at least 42% of Evangelicals polled are not Christian Zionists...This is a sign that Evangelicals are waking up, especially those outside of the U.S.! Perhaps it reflects the growing revulsion for the brutal acts carried out by Israel against its neighbors.

In part 1 of our report, we disclosed that the leader of a group of 1000 evangelicals, who are seeking to make aliyah and settle in Samaria as "converted Jews", is an active and committed messianic Christian. In part 2, we explored the politics involved in promoting this endeavor and we exposed several Israeli politicians who are bolstering an evangelical Christian foothold in the Jewish state. In this third part of this series, we examine the "spiritual" dynamic of the movement which inspires "Christian aliyah", taking a look at some of the rabbinic personalities involved in this precarious venture.

Working to preserve the identity and heritage of Catholics of Jewish origin within the Church, to enable them to serve the Lord and all people within the mystery of their irrevocable calling. Our goal is to preserve the identity and heritage of Israelites within the Catholic Church, through the establishment of a Hebrew Catholic Community juridically approved by the Holy See.

The rapturous applause of the U.S. Congress for the unctuous nonsense that poured from the mouth of the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, in recent days pales into insignificance when compared to the out and out idolatrous behavior of philo-Zionists like John Hagee. Even the Israeli Knesset would not indulge their own Prime Minister in such a manner as the U.S. congress let alone the hysterical ravings of those Christians who wrap themselves in a Zionist flag and sing Hallelujah.

This past Sunday, Pastor John Hagee of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, TX devoted an entire service to honoring Israel. When some pro-Palestinian protesters got a hold of that news, they decided to show up at the service, plant themselves in the audience, and then randomly stand up shouting anti-Israel messages.

This utterly predictable rebuke appeared to enrage Huckabee. “Governor Mike Huckabee said today, that the demand of ADL Director Abraham Foxman to apologize for his comments regarding the Holocaust were uninformed and misguided and called upon Foxman to apologize to him and retract his totally inappropriate and reckless attack issued recently,” said Huckabee’s team in an oddly ungrammatical statement on his HuckPac website.

A U.K. high court ruled recently that a Christian couple is unfit to foster young children because of their faith’s view on homosexuality. Owen and Eunice Johns, who are Pentecostal Christians, were told in the ruling that they could not offer foster care to children if they were going to tell them that homosexuality is wrong, The Guardian said. The ruling said, “There is no place in British law for Christian beliefs,” according to The Telegraph.

Christian and Jewish groups, led by Pastor John Hagee’s Christians United for Israel(CUFI) and (Jewish) StandWithUs began alerting their supporters worldwide, asking them to send email messages to King County Council members and to the Metro bus company. Other groups included the American Jewish Committee, the Federation of Greater Seattle, the ADL, and the metropolitan Seattle community’s rabbis, synagogues, and organizations. Stand With Us managed to get a media poll pulled which showed too many votes in favor of the ads.

“Things like that are happening all over the world, and people should be aware of them." “There is a genuine Mormon-Jewish connection.”

"... the revelation of the Holocaust had the effect of completely delegitimizing anti-Semitism in America. It became much, much harder to say anti-Semitic things in public...I worry a little bit that if we continue to think that our worst problem is how non-Jews feel about us, that detracts from serious problems we as a community have.”

It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas, but some festive and familiar holiday sounds on the SIU campus were silenced. Administrators say that's because they received complaints about the Christmas carols coming from the Pulliam Hall bell tower.
"We took the music off the clock tower as a result of some complaints we received that religious music was offensive to non-Christians," said SIU Chancellor Rita Cheng.

Neve Gordon looks at how an evangelical Christian TV channel with a viewership of nearly half a billion people, including 20 million in the USA and 14 million in Britain, is funding a project to ethnically cleanse Israel’s Bedouin citizens from their ancestral land.
“The Jewish National Fund’s objective … is … to plant a pine or eucalyptus forest on the desert land so that the Bedouins cannot return to their ancestral homes.”
