Israeli firm sold ships, missiles to Iran

In the Ofer family's business, the sale of a tanker for $8 million is a drop in the ocean, and the family chalks up the Americans' objections to a misunderstanding. But its alleged sale of a ship to Iran evokes bewilderment and embarrassment.

ISRAEL DID 9/11 - DID IT DO 3/11 TOO?

The security at the airports used in the 9/11 attack were Israeli owned.

The security at Japan's Fukushima nuclear plant on 3/11 was Israeli owned.

That's only the start of some very disturbing "coincidences".

Did the nuclear meltdown occur because of the earthquake and tsunami, or from the Stuxnet virus that compromised the reactor's safety system?

Colombia: Israeli wanted for training 'death squads' released from Russian jail, repatriated to Israel.

The former Israeli military officer wanted in Colombia on charges of training right-wing militias landed in Israel Frinday night after Russian authorities released him from prison.  Klein, a former Israeli lieutenant colonel, was captured by Interpol in Moscow in August 2007 following a request by the Colombian authorities, who accuse him of training drug barons' private armies and paramilitary groups in the 1980s.

The European Court of Human Rights has ruled that Russia cannot extradite Klein to Colombia, saying that he may face torture in the country, where he was sentenced to nearly 11 years in prison. Klein has said his extradition would mean a "death sentence."

In other news:

Dios Bendiga Israel – God bless Israel. This is not a statement many Israelis hear when traveling abroad.  Except in Colombia.

When he was arrested in 2006, he maintained a network of 100 telephone lines to communicate with his audience, and led prayers for crowds so large they could only be accommodated in a sports stadium.

Israel’s Prisoner ‘Mr. X’ is Iranian Revolutionary Guard General Abducted by Mossad

This blog was the first to report last year that authorities at Israel’s Ayalon prison noted the existence of a prisoner about whom even they knew nothing, who received no visitors, was held incommnicado, had no lawyer, and was a virtual mystery.  A censored Israeli news report called him “Mr. X,” a story I broke last June.  Until today, we didn’t know who he is.  But through a confidential Israeli source I have exposed his identity.  He is a former Iranian Revolutionary Guard general and government minister under former President Khatami named Ali-Reza Asgari.  Western news outlets reported in 2007 that he either defected or was kidnapped by the Mossad, with the assistance of western intelligence agencies (either the CIA or British or German intelligence depending on the source) in Istanbul.

START for Israel; START against Iran

START (Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty) was a bilateral treaty between the US and the USSR which entered into force on 5 December 1994.  Its final implementation in late 2001 resulted in the removal of about 80 percent of all strategic nuclear weapons then in existence. The START I treaty expired 5 December 2009. On 8 April 2010, the new START treaty was signed in Prague by U.S. President Obama and Russian President Medvedev. The next step is Senate ratification.

WikiLeaks and Gaza Links

Turkey’s Interior Minister Besir Atalay nailed it (Wikileaks) when he said, “It seems to us that the country which is not mentioned much, especially in the Middle East, or which this development seems to favor is Israel. This is how we see it in a way when we look in the context of who is benefitting and who is being harmed.”

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad also expressed doubt about the documents, saying the US administration “released” the material intentionally. “The material was not leaked, but rather released in an organized way", he said.

Google, Iran, Mogen Davids, Nukes, and an Israeli hijack plot

Images from Israeli headquartered Google published Saturday show a Star of David on the roof of the Iran Airlines building at Tehran airport.  Oddly, this comes out at the same time as Wikileaks' anti-Iran propaganda.

A report that Israelis were involved in a failed plane hijacking in Tehran this past Friday somehow got buried in the back section of the news.  In other news, Iran's Bushehr nuclear plant is scheduled to go on line in January.

Israel reacts to Wikileaks with relief, vindication

If WikiLeaks didn't exist, Israel would have had to invent it, wrote Sever Plocker, noting the big leak backed Israel's foreign and defense policy...

Diplomatic cables, even classified, aren't where "the real action" happens, says analyst Amir Oren.  Even secure phone lines in embassies aren't trusted for important stuff, as a former Israeli diplomat explains here. Netanyahu, who said Israel wasn't damaged by the leaks, confirmed that important things were discussed in small forums, in person or by encrypted phone calls...former national security adviser Giora Eiland, said Israel can be satisfied that so far no security secrets, operational plans or intelligence capabilities were revealed.

Iranian Jews not persecuted, not leaving Iran anytime soon

Whatever they say abroad is lies - we are comfortable in Iran - if you're not political and don't bother them then they won't bother you - Hersel Gabriel

Although Iran and Israel are bitter enemies, few know that Iran is home to the largest number of Jews anywhere in the Middle East outside Israel.

About 25,000 Jews live in Iran and most are determined to remain no matter what the pressures - as proud of their Iranian culture as of their Jewish roots.

Israeli cyber unit responsible for Iran computer worm – claim

An elite Israeli military unit responsible for cyberwarfare has been accused of creating a virus that has crippled Iran's computer systems and stopped work at its newest nuclear power station.

The Stuxnet computer worm has wreaked havoc in China, infecting millions of computers around the country, state media reported this week.

Stuxnet is feared by experts around the globe as it can break into computers that control machinery at the heart of industry, allowing an attacker to assume control of critical systems like pumps, motors, alarms and valves.

'US seeks to turn 9/11 into Holocaust'

After Iran raises doubts about the official US account of the 9/11 attacks, an Iranian lawmaker says Washington intends to turn the event into a 'sacred' issue that cannot be debated.
"In that case, no country or individual will dare to make a word about the incident and the US will then be able to pursue its policies as it wants in the future," he added.

Nobaveh further stated that the main documents proving the fake nature of the 9/11 attacks are currently prepared by American citizens themselves.
The Iranian lawmaker pointed out to the Qur'an desecration in the US on the anniversary of the September 11, 2001 attacks and said, "They wanted to imply that Muslims caused the attacks and therefore the US could wage a war against them."

According to Nobaveh, most American people do not believe in the US government's explanations about the 9/11 incident.

Ahmadinejad stands by 9/11 probe call

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has stood by his call for the establishment of an independent fact-finding committee to investigate the 9/11 attacks.

"An in-depth inquiry needs to be conducted into the incident," said the president at a gathering in the city of Abadan in Iran's southwestern Khuzestan Province on Monday.

"A tribunal should be set up where any [alleged] evidence and documents (on the 9/11 attacks) can be presented," President Ahmadinejad continued.

"Under the same excuse, all Muslims, revolutionaries and justice-seekers around the world were accused, and the fiercest propaganda campaigns were launched against hem," he noted.

Hundreds of thousands of innocent people have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan so far, President Ahmadinejad highlighted.
