Kenneth Harding, 19, of Seattle was killed while fleeing from two cops conducting a Muni fare inspection near the Third Street and Oakdale Avenue stop. State-run Syrian television says 20 people were killed and 325 wounded by Israeli gunfire along the border in the Golan Heights. The Israeli forces opened fire Sunday to disperse pro-Palestinian demonstrators who tried to cross into the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. The Palestinians and Syrians were storming toward the border in a protest marking 1967 Mideast War, in which Israel occupied the Golan.

Launch an operation using stealth helicopters, in which US Navy SEAL teams break into the Pashtun target's house and kill all the adult males in cold blood. Tell the SEALs that it's an "al Qaeda" headquarters, the main target is Osama bin Laden codenamed Geronimo, and he is only to be taken alive if found unarmed and naked. If he is found unarmed but dressed in pajamas, say, shoot him in the head and chest on the grounds that he could have been wearing a "suicide vest" - a special type of suicide vest that is guaranteed not to detonate from a bullet to the chest at close range.

I'm sure we're all very tired by now of the Osama bin Laden nonsense, I know I am, and I really wish it would just go away. Sadly, that seems an unlikely prospect in the near future. I've taken a few screen shots of the 'older' 'new' videos of 'Osama' in his fancy duds, and I'd like to do a little nose, ear and shoulder comparison with images of the real bin Laden.

With Feeling the Hate, we edited an hour of footage into a four-minute video that focused on the hatred many Jewish nationalists in Israel and the United States felt towards President Barack Obama. Our unreleased footage contains statements by the same kids about Palestinians. The political science major who said “I know my shit” but didn’t know who the Israeli prime minister was told us that the Palestinians should all be transferred to a small corner in the West Bank and kept there in a virtual cage. The boisterous young man with the mesh hat who remarked, “We don’t want any Nazi shit, Obama!” defended Israeli Foreign Minister Avidgor Lieberman’s proposal to strip citizenship from “disloyal” Palestinian citizens. These drunk kids in bars had a coherent, if very simplistic, ideological basis for their racism. It is called Jewish nationalism.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI’s) case into Alex Odeh’s murder remains open, with an up to a $1 million reward for information leading to an arrest and conviction.  However, no arrest has yet been made in spite of the fact that press reports have stated over the years that the FBI identified members of the Jewish Defense League (JDL) as suspects.  None of the identified JDL individuals has ever been charged or prosecuted in connection with the murder, and some have fled to Israel.

The Israeli soldier at the controls of a bulldozer that crushed to death 23-year-old Rachel Corrie in Gaza in March 2003 is due to give evidence tomorrow in the civil lawsuit brought by the American activist’s family.

However the judge hearing the case in Haifa has ruled that, for security reasons, the soldier can testify anonymously from behind a screen, denying Cindy and Craig Corrie the opportunity to face the man who directly caused their daughter’s death. Anonmyously.

A German court has released Uri Brodsky, an Israeli citizen suspected of being involved in the assassination of a senior Hamas leader in Dubai, on bail.

Israel had repeatedly called on Poland to send Brodsky straight home, saying the suspect should stand before an Israeli court.

Analysts say if Brodsky was not an Israeli citizen and was a Muslim instead, the western media would have launched an all-out propaganda against him.

A US writer and radio host says that the country's killing of civilians in Afghanistan serves the purpose of public intimidation.

"Things go back, I believe, to World War II, to intimidate the opposition. We did it ruthlessly in Vietnam, and the most well-known Operation Phoenix, with the estimated number of civilians that we killed, numbered maybe 80,000. The number could have been doubled," he added.

He said the United States military presences in Iraq and Afghanistan is tantamount to war crime.

On June 11, 2010, Idaho lawyer Edgar J. Steele was arrested on murder-for-hire charges. According to prosecutors, Mr. Steele hired his handyman Larry Fairfax to kill his wife Cyndi and his mother-in-law. Steele is an intelligent, educated man; Fairfax is a bankrupt failed logger who turned out to be a federal drug informant. The alleged plot is so preposterous that it would be laughed out of court if all the contradictions were presented. Prosecutors will likely cherry-pick the various pieces of 'evidence', with some claims being conveniently "forgotten" as they attempt to cover up the many mistakes resulting from Steele's enemies' failure to corroborate their stories.
