German Foreign Minister, Guido Westerwelle Friday said in Bangalore that Iran has right to use nuclear energy for civil reasons, IRNA reported.

In a joint press conference with his Indian counterpart S. M. Krishna, Westerwelle said, 'We agree that Iran has the right to use nuclear energy for civil reasons' but it also has to fulfill its international obligations concerning transparency and the nature of its nuclear program, the PTI reported.
