BAI calls for restrictions on food advertising on kids' TV

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) is recommending that there should be no advertising of foods that are high in fat, salt and sugar during children's programming.

This will effectively mean a ban on advertising what the BAI deems to be less healthy foods, including cheese, before 6pm in between kids' television programmes.
