“After you Brother!” Qadaffi Stays and Obama Leaves?

Gaddafi has survived assaults of various types from US Presidents' Ford, Carter, Reagan, George Bush 1, Clinton, George Bush 2, and Obama. Vegas book makers are giving odds he’ll be the leader of Libya’s Fatah Revolution after the voters retire Obama, whose broken promises included telling them that the US would be involved in Libya for days, not months.

The Facebook Video that started the Egyptian Revolution

Unlike Saddam Hussein, who was duped by the U.S. diplomat into invading Kuwait in 1990, it was the revolting Egyptian people who bit the hand that "fed" it, instead of the dictator.

This is why United States and Israel meddled in Egyptian affairs, in artificially supporting the brutal autocratic dictatorship for a long time, that led to the revolution.

'Jewish vessel' passenger: Soldier tasered me

Passengers aboard Gaza-bound vessel refute IDF claims of non-violent takeover. 'There are no words to describe what we went through,' former pilot Yonatan Shapira says. Holocaust survivor who took part in sail: I can't sleep at night because of what Israel is doing to Gazans

Reuven Moskowitz, an 82-year-old Holocaust survivor who was also aboard the vessel, backed Shapira's claim. "We are people who came with a message of peace and we did not anticipate a burst of violence against us, but the officers acted violently.

Ahmadinejad stands by 9/11 probe call

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has stood by his call for the establishment of an independent fact-finding committee to investigate the 9/11 attacks.

"An in-depth inquiry needs to be conducted into the incident," said the president at a gathering in the city of Abadan in Iran's southwestern Khuzestan Province on Monday.

"A tribunal should be set up where any [alleged] evidence and documents (on the 9/11 attacks) can be presented," President Ahmadinejad continued.

"Under the same excuse, all Muslims, revolutionaries and justice-seekers around the world were accused, and the fiercest propaganda campaigns were launched against hem," he noted.

Hundreds of thousands of innocent people have been killed in Iraq and Afghanistan so far, President Ahmadinejad highlighted.

Jewish aid convoy sets sail for Gaza

A relief mission entirely composed of Jewish human rights campaigners has set sail from northern Cyprus to break Israel's siege of the Gaza Strip.

The activists, who are of Israeli, German, British and American nationalities, departed for the coastal sliver on Sunday, AFP reported.

Earlier in the year, Israeli commandos attacked the Freedom Flotilla, a Turkish-backed aid convoy carrying aid supplies to Gaza. The assault in international waters killed nine Turkish activists on board the fleet's lead vessel, MV Mavi Marmara.

Israeli Foreign Ministry spokesman Andy David called the Jewish cause "a provocative joke that isn't funny."

Interview with Ken O'Keefe

The world is full of illusions that are used by the rich and powerful to manipulate and control the people. The greatest illusion, and the one with the most devastating consequences, is that the American people and the Israeli, and the British, and numerous others, vote in their governments and hold them to account. Those who really control the governments are those powerful few who control the banking systems, the major multi-national corporations and, of course, the mass media. If you look beyond the faces of the presidents, prime ministers and politicians you will see that these governments' policies remain virtually the same, no matter who is 'leading' these countries. These 'leaders' do not answer to the people they have pledged to serve; they answer to those who remain behind the scenes.

Boats reach Gaza despite blockade

Human rights activists reach Hamas-ruled strip by sea, despite Israeli blockade.

Two vessels carrying 46 international human rights activists have reached the Gaza Strip, despite Israel's strict 14-month siege of the Palestinian territory.

The end of the mission to symbolically break the siege came after Israel backed down from an earlier warning to the 'Free Gaza' protest group not to breach the blockade.

Al Jazeera's Ashraf Amritti in Gaza said: "The arrival of these two boats is a very symbolic gesture for the Palestinian cause, to end the siege, end the occupation.

In fact, those phrases are written across the peace boats which carry flags from more than 70 nationalities."

Gaza: An Open Letter to Chick Corea

… We love music. But, we are deprived of it. The sound of Israeli-US made F16s, F15s, F35s, Surveillance planes, White Phosphorous bombs, naval gunboats and Merkava tanks do not allow us to listen to music any more. In Gaza, we are forbidden from experiencing the meaning of humanity, from being in love and expressing it in art, dance, music, and all its magnificent other forms that we long to live and experience.

Dear Mr. Corea, we are deafened by the sounds of crying children around us. Some have lost their mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers in the last genocidal war the Apartheid state of Israel launched against Palestinians in Gaza, and others have lost a part of their bodies. But, we can assure you that all of them have lost something they never had… a childhood!

Dear Mr. Corea, if you decide to play in Israel, please remember us...

Lebanese flotilla to sail to Gaza

Following new border conflict between Israel and Lebanon, an all-women aid ship will set sail for the Gaza Strip this weekend to deliver aid to the coastal region. The ship, named the "Mariam" in honor of the Virgin Mary, will carry a group of nuns from the US along with female doctors and lawyers. "They are nuns, doctors, lawyers, journalists, Christians and Muslims," Mona, one of the participants, told the British newspaper, the Guardian. The mission comes after Israel's ambassador to the UN, Gabriela Shalev, issued a warning that Tel Aviv would use "all necessary measures" to stop the vessel.

Defenders of the Mavi Mamarra - Beaten in Israel.

I have for many years understood that we, people of conscience, are the true holders of power in this world. Frustratingly however we have largely relinquished that power and failed to reach our full potential.  Our potential to create a better world, a just world.  Nonetheless I have conspired with others of like mind to reveal and exercise our true power.  In 2002 I initiated the TJP Human Shield Action to Iraq because I knew that the invasion of Iraq had been planned well in advance, that it was part of a ‘Global Spectrum Dominance’ agenda as laid out by the Project For A New American Century.
