Explosion Rocks Saudi Arabia’s Intelligence Headquarters
Reports from Saudi Arabia said an explosion rocked the Arab country’s intelligence headquarters and killed the Saudi deputy intelligence chief.
The Arabic al-Fajr news website reported from Saudi Arabia that the deputy head of Saudi Arabia’s secret service has been killed in the blast.
No official report has yet been released on the incident.
On Thursday night Prince Bandar bin Sultan was appointed Saudi Arabia’s new spy chief.
Prince Bandar, 63, who vanished from public view when he was recalled from Washington by King Abdullah in 2005 after notching up 22 years as the kingdom’s ambassador there, will immediately be thrust into a Middle East crisis.
The US’ closest Arab ally is a supporter of the Syrian rebels who want to oust president Bashar al-Assad and is mending fences with Washington after a disagreement over the Arab uprisings.

On Thursday night Prince Bandar bin Sultan was appointed Saudi Arabia’s new spy chief.
Yes, this is not the Mabahith (the Saudi equivalent of Shin Bet). It is the Mukhabarat (the Saudi equivalent of Mossad). Bandar’s job will be to crush Shiite protests in the Qatif region of Arabia’s Eastern Province, help Bahrain crush its own Shiites, and coordinate Saudi activities against Shiite Iran, and of course Syria.
It’s amazing how the Western masses obediently vilify Bashar al-Assad, while ignoring scumbags like Bandar bin Sultan. Notorious for drinking, whoring, and smoking cigars, Bandar flies around in his own Airbus A340 and has a 2,000-acre estate in Oxfordshire, England, which includes Glympton House mansion. In Aspen Colorado he has a 56,000-square-foot mansion on a 95-acre parcel, which is up for sale at $135 million. In 2007 he sold two other Colorado mansions for $49 million.
Bandar was Saudi ambassador to the USA from 1983 to 2005, and is a close personal friend of the W. Bush family. He is also extremely tight with Israel, as revealed by Wikileaks. In 1985 he pocketed at least £1 billion (US$2 billion) from a £40 billion British arms deal. The theft was discovered in 2006, but silenced by England’s attorney general, the Jew Peter Goldsmith, a.k.a. “Lord Baron” Goldsmith.
The bastard is as corrupt as they come, yet the masses excuse him while vilifying his target, Assad.
