Libya lawmaker says Benghazi attack planned
The deadly attack on the US consulate in the Libyan city of Benghazi was planned and "meticulously executed," the country's assembly chief told AFP on Saturday.
"I don't want to talk about what happened in other countries but as for Libya, the operation was meticulously executed," Mohammed al-Megaryef said.
He added that foreign elements could be involved in the attack.
"There are non-Libyan elements on Libyan soil and they plan to carry out their own agendas on our territory," added al-Megaryef.
The revelations deepen the mystery surrounding the attack, as evidence comes to light that it was facilitated by "major security breaches," according to the British Independent.
Intelligence officials received "credible information" of the raid 48 hours before, yet the mission's usually robust security force made no effort to step up security measures, senior diplomatic sources told the newspaper.

Yes indeed. The non-Libyan elements are called NATO and foreign imperialist corporations.
The same "elements" are also sending non-Syrian terrorist mercenaries to Syria.
The "mystery" arises because no one wants to admit that the Green Resistance is active. The "major security breeches" consist of the lack of US Marines in Libya (at the time of the consulate attack) since the USA thought it had Libya in the bag.
Media terms like "mystery" and "security breeches" cause the masses to engage in wild guessing about false flags, inside jobs, and conspiracies within conspiracies. By engaging in such erratic chatter, the masses further distract themselves from the simple and obvious fact that the Green Resistance did it. Most Libyans had a great life until NATO and its Benghazi terrorists destroyed it, and they are taking revenge in any way they can.
As I explained earlier, this was only the latest in a year-long series of attacks by the Resistance.

No, there was (and is) no formal consulate in Benghazi. An “embassy” has an ambassador, who represents one head of state to another. A “consulate” has a “consul,” who is subordinate to the ambassador.
The USA has 22 consulates in Mexico, for example (plus an embassy in Mexico City), but never had a formal consulate in Benghazi. The USA only had an embassy in Tripoli. However, the Green Resistance burned down the Tripoli embassy during NATO's attack. Therefore ambassador Christopher Stevens was mainly using the Benghazi site.
That site was full of Americans, but was not formally a "consulate." The corporate media calls it a "US consulate" to create the impression that it was an attack on US sovereignty.
Hence the “war on terror” is justified, as was the destruction of Libya, and now Syria, with Iran next.

The FBI will not investigate the attack on the US “consulate” in Libya after all.
Indeed the FBI has nothing to gain by arriving in Libya and trying to prop up the lie that there is no Green Resistance. There is only "Al Qaeda." The Benghazi incident (plus many others like it) prove that the Green Resistance does exist, but how could FBI find the Resistance members? Libya has myriad armed tribal militias who sometimes ally with each other, and sometimes attack each other in the struggle to survive. There are family feuds. There are inter-militia rivalries. There are long-standing disputes over land. There is long-standing friction between Arabs and Berbers.
Amid such chaos, the FBI clowns would only look more foolish than they already do.
Meanwhile the Libyan “authorities” (installed by NATO) have arbitrarily arrested 50 people for interrogation and torture.
The USA is using drones to “search for those who killed the U.S. ambassador and three other Americans.”
In other words the USA will make Libya into Afghanistan. US drones will blast any house, vehicle, or location that might or might not have weapons. Favorite targets will be children, weddings, and funeral processions.
The corporate media will say that the countless drone murders are a fight against “militants,” or “Al Qaeda” or “Islamists,” – even though the USA pays Islamist Al Qaeda mercenaries to conduct massacres in Syria.
The masses will continue to believe every lie the corporate media tells them. And since media lies contradict each other (the Benghazi attack was spontaneous; no it was meticulously planed) the masses will become confused. In their confusion they will dream up countless guesses and hypotheses, while angrily dismissing any mention of the Green Resistance -- just like the NATO powers want them to.
Suckers.
Already the Green Resistance (who the corporate media calls “Islamists”) are firing at US drones that take off from the Benghazi airport. Last Friday the Resistance forced the airport to close down. A Turkish Airlines flight with 121 people aboard was forced to turn back to Istanbul.
