What BP Doesn't Want You To See - A Picture is Worth a Thousand Words

No wonder BP is trying to keep journalists away from the region.

AP photographer Charlie Riedel publishes disturbing photopraphs of oil-soaked birds suffering in the wake of the BP disaster on the Gulf Coast.

As of June 7th, 874 animals (birds, sea turtles, other mammals, and reptiles) had been collected dead in the affected area. Another 466 had been collected with alive, but visibly oiled.

You'll feel like you are sitting on a Gulf Coast beach, personally witnessing the devestation.

If this doesn't make people stand up and scream, I can't image what would!

"Oh, a monstrous sight is the cormorant!
When he's soaked to gills in black effluent.
He is gamey and rude
When he's fowled up with crude

and refuses to bathe in dispersant.
