I’m requesting, very humbly, that ALL MUSLIMS who are able to fast, please, for the sake of Gaza and the whole Ummah, FAST TOMMOROW (Thursday) and do a lot of prayers for Palestine and the entire Islamic World. Be sincere and diligent in both. To increase the efficacy of your fast, recite countless Darood Shareef (invocations) on our Noble Master Prophet (saw) and Glorify Allah
Hazrat Ayesha(ra) relates that The Holy Prophet (saw) was diligent in observing the fast on Monday and Thursday. (Tirmidhi)
“The gates of Paradise are opened on Mondays and Thursdays.” (Muslim)
And whoever does good of his own accord, it is better for him. And fasting is good for you, If you only knew. (Quran 2:185)
All our sloganeering and cries to the oppressors for Mercy are worthless. Even if they would listen our first priority is to beg for help from Allah, the Self-Subsisting, All-Sustaining
INSTEAD of asking the Great Satans to stop being so mean,
Appeal to the King of all kings, to the Lord of the Glorious Throne, to the Merciful and Just, All-Pervasive, Sublimely Wise and Swift Judge. Allah ENCOMPASSES every tyrant who walks on earth today including the Muslim collaborators like Hosni Mubarak in Masr.
In the Quran it says
(8:66)… If there be of you twenty who are steadfast, they shall overcome two hundred; and if there be a hundred of you, they shall overcome a thousand of those who disbelieve, because they are a people who do not understand.
and in the next verse:
(8:67)…So, if there be a hundred of you who are steadfast, they shall overcome two hundred; and if there be a thousand of you, they shall overcome two thousand by the command of Allah. And Allah is with those who are steadfast.
However it also says in the Quran:
(13:12) For him (the Messenger) is a succession of angels before him and behind him; they guard him by the command of Allah. Surely, Allah changes not the condition of a people until they change that which is in their hearts. And when Allah wishes to punish a people, there is no repelling it, nor have they any helper beside Him.
The carnage toll of Palestinians murdered by Israel to Israelis killed by Palestinian rockets is about 1000-1 in this recent conflict.

Did Allah break his promise, nahuzzubillah?
It is HIGH TIME for the Muslims who say that they CARE about Gaza and the plight of Phalusteen and are worried about the dangerous circumstances of the UMMAH to humbly prostrate themselves and FEVERISHLY appeal to Allah’s Mercy and Help. We are to be Universally Compassionate as Muslims. Nuclear Holocaust is breathing down our necks. Let’s choose the fate of Prophet Jonah’s (as) people rather than any other. If the Muslims had held fast to their religion and the spirit of the Taqwa, NEVER, would these white pagan savages, EVER have so much as dared to tread upon us like the insects they call us in their Talmud.

In fact, WE were the ones who saved them from the Christian persecution in Europe.
At the turn of the last century, ALL Muslim empires fell simultaneously with the advent of the Promised Messiah (as) who would end jihad e asghar, which by the way is only applicable against those who persecute you for your faith, AFTER YOU EMIGRATE!
The 5th Khalifa of the Promised Messiah spoke briefly on this in the last two sermons:

It is also a duty of those who recite the Durood to increase in their love for the Holy Prophet (saw) and his family (blood relatives as well as spiritual relatives i.e. his companions (contemporary and those who were to follow his teachings in the future)), and to also pray for the Ummah to truly understand and reap the benefits of reciting Durood. We can all become closer to Allah by following the example of the Holy Prophet (saw) and the example of those who loved the Holy Prophet (saw). If the Muslim Ummah understands this concept, all conflicts will be resolved. The responsibility of an Ahmadi, however, is to continue to pray and supplicate, and to recite Durood, and to beg for protection and mercy, and to strive to increase in love for the Holy Prophet (saw) and his dear ones, and to exhibit an unparalleled love for them.
and
Huzoor (aba) also mentioned the conflict that is taking place between Israel and Palestine at this time as imbalanced and disproportionate in every sense. The Palestinians should mend their ways and bow before God and beg for His help and implore His Mercy, and recognize the Imam of the present day. If the conflicts in the Muslim world today are not resolved in order to attain peace, Huzoor (aba) says that he foresees a world war not too far into the near future.
May Allah enable Ahmadis to vigorously pray for world peace and protection from war and enable the Ummah to become united, Ameen.

In view of the current Palestine/Israel crisis taking place and resulting in the immense loss of life in the Palestine camp, Huzoor (aba) expressed his point of view saying that no Muslim nation has voiced any objection against this brutal injustice being done. At a couple of occasions, when such an objection has been raised, polite and cowardly statements were made which amounted to no voice at all. In contrast, some groups in the western countries have voiced strong condemnations against Israel and made powerful demonstrations. It appears that Muslim nations have become insensitive to a degree beyond imagination to the perils of their brothers, and therefore, it is incumbent on the Jamaat Ahmadiyya to abundantly recite the durood sharif in order to help the Muslim Ummah and supplicate to God, as supplication is the only weapon to achieve the victory of Islam.

and this friday, Hazrat Ameerul Momineen said:
In the end, Huzoor (aba) drew the attention of all Ahmadis worldwide to pray for relief from the plight that the Palestinians are facing at the hands of Israel. Their situation is getting from bad to worse by the day, and now even those who were supporting the cause of Israel have cried out in protest at the cruelties being done to the innocent Palestinians who are being subjected to such horror. The nations that have remained silent are also part of this cruelty against the innocent. The only way we can help the Palestinians is to pray for them with all our heart. Huzoor (aba) pointed out that there are relief organizations that are sending medications and other provisions to the victims, so Ahmadis should help these agencies as well. Humanity First is also helping and Jamaat will also help in any way possible. May Allah have mercy, Ameen.

Very inspiring & thoughtful post.
Great to hear others doing their best to speak for the Palestinians.
I will & have always prayed for them, & I now make an extra 2 rakaat for them after the night prayer, Isha, in which I recite Ayatul Kursi (the most powerful verse of the Qur'aan,in chap 2).
I will heed your advice & fast as soon as I'm able. I really can't make it for tomorrow, though; my sinuses are killing me & I'm slightly high on medication.
At the second of three rallies I've taken part in since the Gaza massacre began, the last two speakers - young women from an Islamic school in Perth, Australia - delivered empassioned speeches about the situation in Gaza. Both speeches were eloquent and poetic, but full of religious platitudes. They told the crowd that 'Allah will cause the Israeli war-planes to fall from the sky', and that 'God will see to it that Israel is stopped its tracks'.
But the truth is, Allah will do no such thing. God is not an interventionist. He's big on free will, always has been.
It's imperative that we act. That means everything from getting involved in the information war as a countervailing influence to the Zionist-controlled corporate media, doing your best to tell the people what the media will not, to direct action - organising, protesting, hassling your M.P.s and members of Congress, boycotting Israeli goods and services, and so on. Action is the key.
I never said action should stop. Action should continue unabated and increase if possible. I’m simply saying that if one is gonna beg for the pain, misery, hurt, murder and destruction to stop, he or she should beg Allah, the All-Encompassing Merciful yet still Compelling and Wrathful Creator of ALL existence rather than the psychopathic oppressors who are bent plunging to the seemingly bottomless depths of depraved inhumanity.
And Allah does and always will intervene when the conditions required for His Help are met and over time intervenes regardless. The only reason Islam even exists today is because in the early period they were able to win battle after battle against insurmountable odds when they were completely outnumbered and had cruder weapons than the enemy WHO PURSUED THEM AFTER THEY EMIGRATED WITHOUT RETALIATION TO PERSECUTION. Those are the real conditions of JIHAD.
In Palestine, muslims outnumber the Israelis yet always lose more people in a humiliating way. And there is a distinct spiritual malaise at the root of it all. As soon as they understand that, the conditions will change and true victory (not just “surviving”) will be at hand.
Ms Anti-Sheeple, its warming to hear of your efforts, thank you. Please remember to recite Darood as often as possible during the day, walking, sitting, lying down, etc.
