Both U.S. and Russia State Willingness To Cooperate Over Afghanistan Crisis

The Zionist media narrative being advanced suggests that a similar fate awaits the United States that befell the Soviet Union in Afghanistan, being repeated in the MSM as a means to turn public opinion against continued U.S. involvement in the region, their reason being they have their guy running the place. Drug warlord and Zionist terrorist Hamid Karzai, the "Mayor of Kabul" so called because he isnt actually running the country, he and his family run the opium trade for a bunch of house of Rothschild euro-trash...

January 24, 2009 (LPAC)-- Both the United States and Russia are stating, at least, their interest in cooperation to deal with the crisis in Afghanistan. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev yesterday said that Moscow is ready to cooperate with NATO to deal with Afghanistan, at a press conference following his meetings with President Islam Karimov in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Today, Dmitry Ragozin, the Russian envoy to NATO, said on Echo Moskvy radio station, that cooperation is being re-established with NATO, and warned that were NATO to be defeated in Afghanistan, this would threaten Russia.

The U.S. State Department yesterday said that Washington is "looking forward" to work with Russia on Afghanistan, Press Trust of India reported. In Tashkent, Medvedev said that "We hope the new U.S. administration will have greater success than the previous one in resolving the Afghanistan issue. Naturally, we are ready for full-fledged, full-format cooperation with all countries on the issue of the provision of security in Afghanistan, including the United States.... We are ready to work on the most complicated issues ... including the transit of non-military goods." Medvedev said that the "number of radicals is not declining in Afghanistan. Poverty continues to produce terrorism." President Karimov said he supports Obama's plans to solve the Afghanistan crisis, and emphasized the importance of regional cooperation. "We offer to solve the problem through the involvement of regional states," he said.

U.S. State Department spokesman Robert Wood said yesterday that Washington wants cooperation. "We certainly look forward to working with Russia on Afghanistan. It's in both of countries' interest to try to stabilize the situation in Afghanistan and bring about, you know, more economic development and security in the country," PTI quoted Wood yesterday. He was responding to a question on Medvedev's statement in Tashkent.

"It was a very, very strong signal that this Administration sent to the region when Ambassador Holbrooke was appointed to be the Special Representative for Pakistan and Afghanistan. So I think that it itself shows you how serious the Administration is about trying to work on these issues. And working with Russia will be a key component of that," Wood said. Asked specifically if Moscow has conveyed to the new Obama Administration, its interest in cooperation on Afghanistan, specially the supply routes, Wood said, "I mean, we'll be having conversations with the Russians and have had conversations with the Russians at a number of levels to talk about, you know, enhancing our cooperation in Afghanistan."

Yea, that's a winning plan! Ship your supplies across Siberia on the Trans-Siberian RR at huge expense to fight a war in the earth's most forsaken hellhole to catch imaginary terrorists.

Obama thinks we need to make our supply lines even more vulnerable that the Khyber pass, so we need to start a war in Pakistan.

You thought things couldn't get worse with the Obamessiah? Think again!

Afghanistan - where empires go to die.

Russia has a vested interest in seeing Afghanistan under Islamic control. The last thing Russia wants is opium money funding Israeli weapon purchases for zio-terrorism in the caucuses. You are flat wrong about PK, you comments reflect a complete lack of understanding of political reality in the region. Thanks for your input.

Glad you're back Sparky! And just as elated Sullivan is back too. Are you behaving Sparky, lol?

As far as Russia, they have no interest in helping the US under their Afghan Vietnamish yoke. Lest we forget the CIA Mossad ISI onslaught on Soviet/Russian troops & economy in the 1980s. This is mostly wishful thinking on the part of the US and astute geopolitical diplomacy on Russia's part.

The sun has a propensity to often bring a new day

What power that would give them and a nice profit center too. We just saw how Russia can play hardball with infrastructure in Ukraine. Imagine if all U.S. supplies were to be forced thru Vladavastok?

Think that would keep Zbig's newest project under control? Think that would be leverage? And if not, the U.S. has a round of payback coming in the form of MANPADS for the Mullahs.

Turnabout is fair play when you play with STINGERS.

P.S. Sparky took a digital dirt nap.

...of physical harm to others here and has been given the boot, permanently this time. There never was a 'censorship regime'. I don't like having to give someone the boot, but there is a line to be drawn.

He was as free to post his pet material as anyone else is to post theirs. He was also free to comment on and critique those other posts. However, that was not good enough for him. He sought to shut down, through threats, insults and other juvenile antics, any discussion that didn't suit him.

Sparky's consistently foul mouth and penchant for hurling insults and ad-homs at anyone whose perspective differed from his didn't go down well here. It is known as trolling and doesn't go down well anywhere. If anyone was attempting to censor, it was him.

my "censorship regime" reference wasn't specifically attached to Shooting Sparks it encompassed the suffering of a slew of good WUFYS people. Although, it was a nice surprise to see him here. *(With Sparky it's pure style, confrontational enthusiasm if you will his MO/demeanor is harmless but hey I don't hold the guillotine. Moreover, he was told about tempering the attitude so I can understand the point of view. Still for me expression is an inalienable right that society must suffer no matter the form utterances. It is a right to be balanced against more personal freedoms (conveniences of "safe" modes of balanced communication and intercourse) Whereby the personal gives way to the social. We give up policing this godly right of expression in order to partake in a vibrant no holds "barred" [pun intended] environment of free speech).

At any rate, I do not want to rehash old wounds on the matter, just a clarification.

Peace is an offspring of Justice

"Sparky has made threats......of physical harm to others here"

bullshit, prove it. It never happened. You are being deceptive.

I am saying you were lying Sullivan.
