How did the “Star of David” become the state of Israel’s symbol?

When I was a young boy, I would doodle the “Star of David” (or the Magen David; meaning literally the “Shield of David” as if??!), on just about everything I could. I had the ignorance of a young child indeed, believing that this symbol was something that perhaps King David himself donned somewhere within his domain, perhaps on the city gate walls, etc. etc.

Ignorance is the correct word for my past understanding. For the Star of “David” was definetly not used by David the slayer of Goliath!;

The Shield of David is not mentioned in ancient rabbinic literature. Notably, not a single archaeological proof exists concerning the use of this symbol in the Land of Israel during BCE. Scientists say that it probably was not a widely recognized symbol in the Israel of the Second Temple era.

I believe the hexagram symbol has its origins far back (ancient babylon & further), some historians believe Solomon allowed for use of this "sorcerer's symbol", during his reign as king of Israel:

Again William F. Dankenbring informs us in regards to this theory;

The so-called "Star of David" is essentially a "hexagram," nothing more, nothing less. There is no Biblical or Jewish evidence that traces this ancient occult symbol with king David of Israel. However, there is evidence that it was used by king Solomon, after he turned to pagan gods and the occult, late in his life, causing God to become very angry with him .

So we can see it does not take Sherlock Holmes to deduce that King David did NOT use the modern symbol called the “Star of David”.

The question still remains,... how did this symbol become Israel’s prime mark?

The adoptation of the "Star of David", by the State of Israel has its most immediate influence coming from that old viper; Baron Edmond de Rothschild.

The Rothschild family crest was a red shield and a hexagram on the shield;

The Bauer name still lives on today. However, one of them, Mayer Amschel Bauer, changed his branch of the family to match the Rothschild family crest (Red Shield).
Mayer Amschel Bauer was a well-off coin trader in Frankfurt. A red hexagram was hung in front of the family house.
This offers us a view into the Rothschild occultist tendencies. The hexagram is also known as the Seal of Solomon, the Magen David, or the Star of David. It was a symbol of Moloch and Astoreth and was used in the ancient Mystery Religions. Saturn, which has been known to represent Satan was also represented by the hexagram.
Because the six-pointed star was so important to Mayer Amschel Bauer, he decided to change his name to Rothschild (Rot – shild means Red Shield in German). His focus was to actually associate his family with occultism and Saturn (Astoreth worship). The Astor family is another influential Illuminati family.

I hope this peaks some of the curious among you to investigate the roots of the “Star of David” or the “Magen David”, uncovering the truth behind its’ history.

The map which Israel and all Zionists around the world are seeking is very wide and if you really consider the Zionist attempts since it started you will believe how satanic those Zionists are.
check the following link out to see that map:

Ahmed Ismail

... I do believe that the star is a new innovation, borrowed from old pagan symbols.

I'm sure HW could share more insight into the Rothschild crest (did you already do a blog on that?)

Again, commas between tags ;)

Cheers mate.

The hexagram or so-called "Star of David" is a six sided object, mounted with six triangles, pointing in six different directions.

The six points outward in all directions symbolize the Zionist goal of world domination.

The day may eventually come where the "goyim" who willingly accept Jewish Supremacy will be marked on the forehead with a hexagram, much like cattle are given a rancher's brand.

Your suggestion is interesting.

Suppose, for the sake of discussion, there is something to the “666” prophecy in the book of Revelations.

Prophecies do not always come true in the forms we expect.
Why can’t “666” be the zionist Hexagram, as you’ve described?

We know the day is coming when we won’t be allowed to buy anything unless we have a computer chip implanted in us. Several companies already manufacture such chips for implantation in personal pets and other living things. Plus, there is the constant push for “Real ID,” which will allow Jews that control government to better track and manage the already-enslaved Goyim (cattle).

Therefore, I think you're on to something with this idea. An implanted chip that looks like a hexagram will complete the zionist 'hex' on us.

In 1875 Helena P. Blavatsky, immigrated from Ukraine, founded "The Theosophical Society" with Henry Steel Olcott and William Quan Judge in New York City. Its initial objective was the study of religions from a more philosophical point of view rather than a belief system. Then it expanded into:
1. To form the nucleus of a Universal Brotherhood of Humanity without distinction of race, color, or creed.
2. To promote the study of Aryan and other Scriptures, of the World's religion and sciences, and to vindicate the importance of old Asiatic literature, namely, of the Brahmanical, Buddhist, and Zoroastrian philosophies.
3. To investigate the hidden mysteries of Nature under every aspect possible, and the psychic and spiritual powers latent in man especially.
They created a symbol or a seal to represent their motto. It was composed of a circled snake (Ouroboros) eating its tail, to represent the eternal continuity of life. Also its crescent shaped referred to Islam. At 12 O'clock on the circle there is the swastika, representing the Potency of Creativity. On the top of the swastika they put the Sanskrit word
"Aum", or the mystical chant of Absolute Truth. Then we have the hexagram in the center of the circle, and the cross in the center of the hexagon. The top tip of the cross is in the shape of a circle, representing the sun or the perfect human (Ankh). The sentence "There is no religion except Truth" is written around the circle.
Although the hexagram was adopted in 1873 as Star of David to represent Judaism (by converts, I hasten to add!), the theosophical society does not seem to have used it as a reference to Judaism. The hexagram is the symbol of the divinity of the number seven. The seventh point being the center hexagon or the Sun. This divinity belief existed in the major ancient and antiquity belief systems before its integration into cabala. I personally believe this was prompted by human's discovery of some impressive natural phenomena, such as seven notes of music, and its octave repetition to infinity. (This made excited Pythagoras keep scientists busy for 2000 years to prove him wrong that the universe is not run by numbers.) Or integration of seven day week into the calendar and finding a perfect match. (btw. seven spoke crown of statue of liberty also comes from this divinity belief.)
The opportunistic adoption of the hexagram seems to be around the time that the word "Jew" was coined for English speakers too. This word was supposed to create the notion of a "race" via religion and therefore legitimacy to claims for the converts. May be this abusive mindset towards other people's cultural heritage started by Moses when he adopted (at least) 500 hundred years old (most likely) Akkadian's Ten Commandments and said its mine.
[A note to the author: I try to stay away from chronological designations BCE and CE and use the meaningful BC and AD. The same way that I insist to use Merry Christmas (although I am not religious) and not the meaningless Happy Holly Day. I think its the same people who are subliminally expunging the word Christ out of people's routine. The same people who are filing lawsuits to bring down crosses.]
