Jihad versus Ijtihad

The one thing I can say is at least Americans have at last started their own personal JIHAD. Ijtihad is the word that implies critical thinking. It means the "personal internal struggle" of morality itself and is used to define the process a person or a population goes through to diagnose it's own problems and find it's own solutions which will naturally be CULTURALLY DETERMINED.

Does anyone who actaully believes in "God" not realize that "God" (read: Allah) was well aware of what the future would bring?

And it all started with seat belts and bans on smoking. Not bad if you ask me and hope is not at all lost for me.

Twenty or so years ago, "they" began discussing what they labeled the Green Peril. You'd think Islam was a disease. At least this time they are admitting they better be more friendly to the Scholars of World Religion and Practice.
