Here is my unobstructed view, however bizarre and implausible it may seem. It is a conspiracy theory -- mine alone, staking my reputation on the line until the truth finally comes out to give partial or whole credibility to my view or disprove it completely.
You never know what the Zionists and traitorous American subordinates are capable of for what they did on September 11, 2001 and the pressure leading to the West's preemptive invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, partly on the behalf of the State of Israel.

Donald Rumsfeld 'admitted' the steep amount (taxpayers' money) has disappeared into the black hole, speaking figuratively -- exactly one day before 9/11.
Object impacted a certain area of the Pentagon that fateful day. Maybe the particular but non-specific WTC offices held sensitive documents that might have held the key to the mystery.
I presume the impacted area contain the comprehensive accounting investigation documents on the vanished fund portion as well as vital "for official use only" and classified documents, related and unrelated. After the crash, the stacks of essential documents - related and not - are vaporized and there were casualties -- torched and mangled human remains.
Israeli agents, through spying and infiltration of the Pentagon and other military & government subsidies, hit the 'jackpot' through the secret deal with (Comptroller & Chief Financial Officer of Department of Defense) Dov Zakheim to compromise national security and thieve a large portion of the U.S. treasury, some of it intended for the Pentagon budget. They compromise the security clearances and access to obtain and transfer the money to other countries to deliver to the State of Israel (or straight to Israel, but the track might be obvious so they may have to do "chain proxy" in money laundering).
The transfer consist of electronic transfer (but how without the trace? that's the question) or physical cash (very massive in $100 bills that may require large cargo planes, boats and semi-trucks, imagine that. bond/precious metal certificate, maybe? might be obvious) or both.
We have no idea how 2.3 trillion up to 3 trillion plus USD vanished, only connected insiders know. Either it vanished in one heist or thieving by 'installments' over the time.
The launderers might have used the ultra-secure and confidential banking system in Switzerland. State of Israel use the stolen fund to invest in R&D to develop deadlier combat weaponry, perhaps fresh quantity of redesigned nuclear weaponry, and in bribery, intelligence and covert propaganda.
And to top this off, Mossad director, officers and selected agents have developed the elaborate ideas of mass-scale murder, deceit, sabotage and concealment of the real perps and devised the plan to execute the false flag terror attacks rumored to be "bigger than 9-11" (as Western mainstream news propaganda warn). Similar to CIA-orchestrated Operation Gladio in Europe.
The mainstream media, controlled by the scheming Jews and their traitorous 'goy' subordinates who support the cause of global Zionist conquest, will deceive the population with agitprop methods to complete the evil design of bringing about the new, more destructive war while pushing for the abolishment of liberty at home with the unanimous passage of free speech suppression & discrimination ('hate', anti-govt, criticism of authority, etc), Internet control, property seizure, detention of citizens without due process and other totalitarian measures that tear apart the Constitutions of the democratic West.
I call them Zionist Mafia. No difference between the Italian mob and Jewish mafia except racial difference. Both depend on racketeering, blackmail and thuggery to gain fearsome power, obscene wealth and conquest of the 'rivals', including obliterating the other races perceived to be inferior or antagonistic to the absolute fascist-authoritarian autonomy of the Zionist-Elite faction as the leader of the New World Order.
Just my theory. I stand by my statement. I have yet to find out whether it correlates to the tome that is The Protocols of the Elders of Zion (videos 1, 2). Hoax or not, I subscribe to the literature because it closely parallels the listed motives of the cabal.
To be perfectly clear, I am not an anti-Semite. It is the nefarious cabal that hide behind anti-Semitism as an excuse to deceive and defraud the world by blackmail, smear and disinfo propaganda. I've said this before to defend the good Jews who strenuously object to Zionism as a depraved ideology it is.

1) What I refer to "chain proxy" is money passing through the front companies and agents in foreign countries under the otherwise innocent titles concealing the massive heist in process to be delivered to the destination.
2) Developing not only sophisticated weaponry but also advanced military hardware and technology that require sizable investment. Israel is known for development of advanced technology. Israel take America's foreign aid worth a trillion dollars over the last three decade or so, yet they want more money so there has to be a reason to pull the heist -- the greatest robbery of an ally nation there is.
3) I should mention that there may be Mossad/Israeli involvement in taking out JFK. JFK's letters to two prime ministers complaining about the covert nuclear reactor in Dimona tell what was JFK's main concern about achieving peace in the Middle East on Israel-Arab relations. David Ben-Gurion was so exasperated and outraged at President Kennedy's reasonable pressure he resigned suddenly. He may have told the Mossad to take care of JFK...so it happened.
And after JFK was out, U.S. government (beginning with the treasonous LBJ administration) reversed Kennedy's policies to become even more stronger in their "permanent alliance" with Israel for ever. The U.S.'s meek response to USS Liberty attack and acceptance of Israel's explanation show that US-Israel relations will never deteriorate even after Israel continue to backstab and betray Americans with blackmail, fraud and murder.

you have alot of interesting idea's on the 'lost trillions' that the News and media seem to have forgotten. What particular banking system or modus-operandi they are using to hold/move/use the money is really insignifigant, since THEY OWN ALL THE BANKS!!!

Banking connection is a high possibility. After all, Zionists are in on the heist and the dividends pay off handsomely for the participants.
I suggest checking out Carlos Latuff's work, he's a far better artist in consistent provocation. He's braver than me because his cartoons have the incredible power to offend the certain groups Latuff consider abominable - be it Bush, Zionists, Latin America government thugs, even jingoistic American soldiers which he mocks and deride by advocating insurgery violence because they are perceived occupiers.
I don't agree with him on certain political views -- he depicts Che Guevara as a peace symbol saint -- but he's a courageous artist who provoked Israeli Zionists to issue a death threat against him.
I welcome additional contributions to my theory. I still don't get how the trillions disappear without a trace -- it's mind-bogging. It means there was a plan carefully developed and laid out over the years to pull off as the perfect score.
The cartoons I did (albeit a tad amateur - I don't really draw that much after high school) were sent to Iran cartoon contest but rejected for probably wise reason.

I was wondering if anybody had any ideas why the Intelligence communities are so silent on 911? Lets consider all the "facts" that the truth movement has uncovered and yet the government is unanimously silent in their response. Has anyone ever tried to email the CIA, NSA, and or, the F.B.I with helpful "facts?" BY the way, where is Rabbi Zakheim? Here is a funny mental picture: Imagine you are a CIA analyst and your job is try to guess Bin Ladens next move. Even the dumbest American college graduate would eventually figure out the cover story s fake! I hear the pay at the CIA is good and the benes are great! Selling out America for 70 grand a year.
