Who is Scott Ritter?
He's the ex-Marine officer and former UN weapons
inspector who said during the build up to the Iraq
invasion that Iraq DID NOT have weapons of mass
destruction.
Ritter was slandered and threatened for expressing
this opinion.
He was 100% right.
Ritter was warning Americans as early as 2002 that
Bush & Co. were going to invade Iraq. At the time,
people thought the very idea was crazy.
He was 100% right.
Now Ritter says that the signs are clear:
Bush & Co. will attack Iran before Bush's time
is up unless they are stopped.
Some facts:
1. Bush already has authorization to order
an attack on Iran without asking for approval
from Congress. Blanket war powers have already
been granted him and unless taken away, he can
use them any time on any country.
2. Iran - like Iraq - has no nuclear
weapons program.
Nuclear ENERGY program? Yes, but that is far
from having a nuclear weapons program.
In fact, UN inspectors have concluded
after extensive study and investigation
there are no nukes in Iran - but this simple
fact is NOT being reported by the US new media.
Instead the US news media is manufacturing claims
that the President of Iran has threatened Israel
with annihilation and is supplying Iraqi insurgents
with weapons (both false claims.)
3. An attack on Iran will not be without
consequences to the US.
Iran has three times the population of Iraq and
unlike Iraq which was militarily shattered after
Gulf War I and over ten years of sanctions and US
bombing, Iran has a fully capable conventionally
armed military.
Iran can easily shut down the Straits of Hormuz
and stop the flow of oil out of the Middle East.
Oil has recently been as high as $80 per barrel.
A Middle East shutdown could skyrocket the price
to $250 per barrel or more,
Great for Bush's friends in the oil industry.
Disastrous for the US economy.
Remember, Bush & Co. have mastered the art of
profiting from catastrophe. Think 9/11, Iraq and New Orleans. Each one of these evens has been a massive financial windfall for the Bush family and their allies.
Stopping the Bush administration from attacking Iran and creating a catastrophe many times
bigger than the one they have created in Iraq should be every sane human being`s focus until Bush is out of office.

for stopping war with Iran and Syria as well because that time was around about general vote of no confidence to Bush government in last elections swing to democrats. So assertion "until Bush leaves the office" is also off the table as far as these next wars are discussed. Nothing much was/is changing in US politic no matter who you vote(d) for. You think that Bush is crazy enough to attack Iran while already engaged in two wars, and you are right about that. Now that you know about Bush let me tell you he is doing it at least with angry expression on his face because he hates Arabs in general and Muslims in particular. That is exactly reflection of his Ziomaster. Now imagine this quite possible scenario where brainless US citizens chose to vote with democrat and not just any democrat but a first woman president Madam Hillarious. That woman will do more bloodshed than both Bushes combined without an angry smirk on her face. She will do it laughing like the witch from the Wizard of OZ. Doubt it? Think again and again, why do you think she has raised more money than any other candidate. Because she is trying to liberate US from Zionist plans, yeah right. She is more capable than Bill Clinton but also much more dangerous than any man. I have nothing against women but I see her as devil's advocate set on destruction of mankind. War will go on no matter if Bush is here or not. Unfortunately there is no many sane persons in US or west in general to focus on anything that is not related to sex, violence and supernatural kabbalistic sorcery.

You just may be right, traveler!

I hope you are wrong, but you make interesting points.
bush is blaming Iranian agents for smuggling operational IEDs and EFPs into Iraq and Afghanistan. That's going to be the excuse he'll use to commence bombing -- the story that "Iranian weapons are killing American boys." He's also accusing Iran of transferring IED and EFP manufacturing technology to the Iraqis.
Actually, the design drawings and instructions for fabricating IEDs and EFPs are freely available on the internet (from American websites). In many cases they have been online and accessible since before the Iraq invasion began.

No one bought Bush’s Iranian WMD lie, so Bush will go for the “Iran supports terrorism in Iraq” lie. That's why Joe Lieberman and John Kyl passed a resolution in Congress that designates the Iranian Revolutionary Guard a "terrorist organization. It allows Bush to act without consulting Congress.
All reports say Bush has asked the Joint Chiefs for a new, scaled-down strike plan. Instead of hitting sites all over Iran, Bush will target a handful of Iranian Revolutionary Guard sites.
This makes a strike all the more likely.
