Why Sunni/Shia Muslims hate Ahmadi Muslims
Brother Celt posted some things about Ahmadi muslims:
so although I have posted this in the relevant thread, it's so cluttered that I figure this warrants its own thread.
To those who don't know about this and don't want to, sorry, please just ignore this entry.
^ check these out before you believe that book brother Celt posted.
There is SOOO MUCH propaganda out there about a variety of sects although I must say, the propaganda they do about the Ahmadi sect is by far the most vile, descipable, blatantly false with utterly unsophisticated misrepresentation.
You can't expect a civilized debate when one person insists on posting a book while others are trying to actually engage in a discussion.
First of all, it is ABSOLUTELY IMPERATIVE to acknowledge that NO MUSLIM has the authority to call another who says shahadah, a NON-MUSLIM when the Greatest Prophet (saw) himself waived the right. I find it gut-renchingly disgusting that despite the claims to love Rasulullah (saw) and Allah, people will engage in such venemous campaigns against one group. They'll even unite will all other sects who they hate and claim are incorrect to call one group, "outside the fold of Islam"
The Ahmadi muslims have added NOTHING to Islam nor taken ANYTHING away.
The do salat 5 times a day, they give zakat, IN FACT, a much GREATER percentage, they believe in Allah, ALL the books, angels, prophets, judgement day, they try to perform hajj (in cognito because of the self-appointed mullahs). They believe the Quran is FINAL and NO LAW will ever come after and that ISLAM is the final religion and that Muhammad Mustapha (saw) is the KhataMAN Nabiyeen (SEAL of the prophets) just as he called Ali (ra) Khatamul Auliya (SEAL of the saints)
The only thing that really made the muslims angry and venomous was Ahmad's (as) claim to prophethood and that Isa (as) is dead.
There is precedent for these beliefs in the words of the QURAN, the prophet, and the mujaddids, like Alf Thani, Ibn Arabi and others.
For example on Isa (as) being dead:
^NON-ahmadi pulling quotes from the QURAN
Prophethood after Muhammad (saw) in the QURAN:
[4:70] And whoso obeys Allah and this Messenger shall be among those on whom Allah has bestowed His blessings - the Prophets, the Truthful, the Martyrs, and the Righteous. And an excellent company are they.
[4:71] This grace is from Allah, and Allah suffices as One Who is All-Knowing
This verse explain that those who obey Allah & the Holy Prophet (saw)(good muslims) WILL BE OF the prophets, truthful, martyrs and righteous.
(4 degrees of rank that can be achieved)
The reason the opponents of Ahmadi Muslims have to create so much confusion, hatred, and lies is because Ahmadiyyat is the single greatest threat to their hierarchies and authority.
Ahmadis have had Divinely-established Khilafat for 100 years and are in 190 countries of the world. They have translated the Quran into the most languages and were the first and only ones to establish a 24/7 GLOBAL muslim satellite channel. They have been lauded everywhere as the greatest example of peaceful, law-abiding and humanitarian muslims that exist. The sunnis say this is because of a ZIONIST conspiracy although the Ahmadi Khalifas have exposed zionism more than and BEFORE any other group.
Just check this out:
The sunnis believe that a 2000 year old Jesus (as) is alive in the sky and will return (very similar to Christian belief, minus an overt acceptance of Jesus' divinity) and that when he returns he will no longer be peaceful but he will kill in the name of God and convert the ENTIRE globe by murdering the opposing forces wholesale. But he will also be stripped of his prophethood because they believe NO prophet can come after Muhammad (Saw)
Ahmadi Muslims contend that Jesus (as) was a messenger and like ALL HUMANS died a natural death on earth NOT ON THE CROSS but much later after he went in search of the lost tribes.
They believe the 2nd coming happended in the person of Ahmad (as). They believe that just as Jesus (as) was the peaceful messiah and follower of Moses (as) and his law, who came 1300 years after Moses (as) to unite the Jews and whose movement swelled MUCH LARGER than all the other jewish sects combined, SO TOO was there to be a peaceful muslim messiah who would come 1300 years after the Muhammad (saw) as his ardent follower to unite the various muslim sects and the whole globe UNDER ISLAM through peaceful propagation of the excellent verties of Islam
If you study the lives of Ahmad (as) and Jesus (as) you will find many significant parallels as well.
I can't speak for brother Celt's views but he should be made aware that other SUFIS have acknowledged that PROPHETHOOD could come in the UMMAH, as long as the man was a follower of Muhammad (saw) and that such a prophet could NOT bring a new law.
Ibn Arabi: (who as a SUFI saint, brother celt should hold in GREAT esteem)
From the study and contemplation of the Darud we have arrived at the definite conclusion that there shall, from among the Muslims, certainly be persons whose status, in the matter of prophethood, shall advance to the level of prophets, if Allah pleases. But they shall not be given any book of law.(Hazrat Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi, Futuhat al-Makkiyya, Vol.1, p.545)
The prophethood which came to an end with the advent of the Holy Prophet was Tashri'ee Nabuwat, i.e., a prophethood with a new book and a new Law. There is no room for such prophethood after the Holy Qur'an. This is the correct meaning of the Hadith which contains the Holy Prophet's saying that there is to be no prophet after him. The Hadith only conveys that after the Holy Prophet there can be no prophet who will replace his Shariah with another one. Henceforth whenever any prophet comes he will be subordinate to him and his Shariah. (Hazrat Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi, Futuhat al-Makkiyya, Vol.2, p.3, Egyptian edition)
The prophethood that terminated with the person of the Holy Prophet, peace be on him, was the law bearing prophethood and not just prophethood itself. (Hazrat Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi, Futuhat al-Makkiyya, Vol. 2, p. 73)
Prophethood would continue to be open to the people till the day of judgement, though law making has terminated, yet law making is but one element of prophethood. (Hazrat Muhyiddin Ibn Arabi, Futuhat al-Makkiyya, Vol. 2, p. 100)
We should engage in a peaceful discussion where we type things out instead of copy & paste things without verifying the sources of such inflammatory information.
