The ‘Almighty Dollar’ is really a paper tiger

So much is happening so fast that it's hard to make sense of it all. But, I'm going to give it a shot.

I'll refer to them as US dollars for simplicity, but you should know that they are anything but - they are Federal Reserve Notes and they are owned and manipulated by private bankers.

And over the past few weeks, this "Almighty Dollar" has proven that it's nothing but a paper tiger.

To Recap:

The US dollar has been plummeting in value for the past few weeks, evidenced by sharp rises in oil prices.

This week the FBI and secret service raided and confiscated Ron Paul Liberty Dollars, which threaten to undermine the use of the US dollar domestically.

Yesterday, Chavez and Ahmedinejad called on OPEC to stop trading in US dollars, which they called "a worthless piece of paper."

"They get our oil and give us a worthless piece of paper," Ahmadinejad told reporters after the close of the summit in the Saudi capital of Riyadh.

Instead, he and Chavez recommend that they switch to "a more credible currency" like, for example, Chavez suggests the Euro.

"All participating leaders showed an interest in changing their hard currency reserves to a credible hard currency," Ahmadinejad said. "Some said producing countries should designate a single hard currency aside from the U.S. dollar ... to form the basis of our oil trade."

Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez echoed this sentiment Sunday on the sidelines of the summit, saying "the empire of the dollar has to end."

"Don't you see how the dollar has been in free-fall without a parachute?" Chavez said, calling the euro a better option.

At first glance, it appears that they're saying the same thing. But, they're not. Ahmedinejad's reference to 'hard currency' infers a tangible commodity of value, i.e., gold, silver, etc. While Chavez suggests OPEC simply shifts its allegiance from one paper tiger to another, the Euro.

Indeed, OPEC emerged from the meeting committed only to studying the possibility of switching oil trade to "a basket of currencies," none of which are backed by anything tangible - in other words, ALL paper tigers - every last one controlled and grossly manipulated by greedy bankers.

Another salient point worth mentioning is that while Chavez appears to represent the voice of the oppressed in his rallying cry to drop the "Imperial Dollar," his suggestion that people flock to the equally imperial EURO belies an alternate agenda aligned with international bankers, who have publicly declared their intent to destroy the US dollar.

So, what are we the people to understand from all this and what are we to do?

The answer is as simple as it is daunting.

Real power lies not in money - paper or otherwise - which is only as valuable as people think it is, and not in the armies that back them (these also can be defeated - our own army can be defeated voluntarily as, so far, we're not compelled to join).

You might argue that Black Gold - Oil - represents real power because unlike gold and fiat bills, it's actually useful.

But, oil is only a means to enhance power. It is not the source of power.

Real power lies in the collective minds of individuals who are ready to live their lives for a common cause.

Today that cause happens to be unified by the US dollar because that is the world's reserve currency and most people on earth spend their lives working to earn it.

Tomorrow it will be the Euro, or even precious metal.

It doesn't matter what it is - we'll still suffer under the same tyranny if we do not deal with the root of the problem.

It's the same story all over again and people around the world must ask themselves - What would you do for money?

But, it's not enough to stop at asking what you would do - you must also ask what would the people you work for do? and so on and so forth.

Because EVERYTHING WE DO is connected by MONEY, those who control the most MONEY impose their values on the rest of the world.

They simply get us to believe that MONEY has value. We then willingly spend our lives chasing after it.

In our blind, self-interested pursuit of money, we work together to exalt their values and achieve their goals.

Whether you worship paper tigers or a golden calf you cannot overcome the nasty side effects that come with valuing yourself and material wealth more than you value God and each other.

Money has no value - people do.

United we stand. Divided and chasing after paper tigers, we fall.

The battle begins in our minds and victory goes to those who control it.

that raiding and confiscating Ron Paul dollars was a politically motivated move designed to end the only circulating currency that could seriously undermine the transition from the dollar to the Amero.
