America’s first Hebrew-language charter school, the Ben Gamla Hebrew Charter School, opened last August in Hollywood, FL.
Now zionists want a national U.S. network of publicly funded Hebrew schools in order to strengthen Jewish identity without having to pay the expense of private schools.
The schools’ curricula will incorporate Hebrew-language instruction, plus classes that cover Jewish culture and history and modern israeli society.
Jewish “philanthropist” Michael Steinhardt added to the push by donating to a Hebrew-language charter school in Brooklyn.
Steinhardt, a former hedge fund manager, had previously backed a series of high-profile Jewish identity-building efforts, ranging from the “Birthright Israel” program to the Jewish day school movement.
Over the past year, he has promoted taxpayer-funded Hebrew charter schools as a new and cheaper way to strengthen Jewish solidarity.
“What if we enrolled a nationwide system of Jewish charter schools focusing not on religious studies (which appeal only to a minority of Jews anyway) but on the elements of Jewish culture that make us strong? Charter schools might be a solution to Jewish communal needs. We would be foolish to ignore their potential.”
Last April, a group of Jewish parents submitted an application to the New Jersey Department of Education to open a taxpayer-supported Hebrew language and culture charter school in the city of Englewood.
Peter Deutsch, a Jewish former congressman who founded the Ben Gamla school in Florida, says he has spoken with other groups from across the country that were interested in starting a Hebrew charter school.
Deutsch has also spoken extensively with the Steinhardt group, and says Steinhardt will bring a new level of resources and expertise to publicly funded Hebrew charter schools that could benefit the entire Jewish movement.
Because public schools in the USA are required by law to steer clear of religion, the new taxpayer-funded schools will promote “Jewish identity.”
New York City already contains several language- and culture-themed schools, including the Khalil Gibran International Academy, which deals with Arabic language and culture.
The Gibran Academy is not a publicly funded charter school. Nonetheless, zionists argued that the private school would promote an Islamic agenda. Last fall they forced principal Debbie Almontaser to resign.

Considering that ben Gamla loved wealth and got to his position by bribes, it's more than appropriate that the Hebrew language charter schools are named after that type of character.
From Wikipedia:
Yehoshua ben Gamla was a Jewish high priest who officiated in about 64 C.E. He married the rich widow Martha of the high-priestly family Boethos (Yeb. vi. 4), and she by bribing Jannai secured for him the office of high priest (Yeb. 61a; Yoma 18a; comp. "Ant." xx. 9, § 4). Although Yehoshua himself was not a scholar, he was solicitous for the instruction of the young, and provided schools in every town for children over five years of age, earning thereby the praises of posterity

Hell, just imagine this thing going nationwide, sort of like the McDonald's franchise.
Only the clown in this franchise wears those funny looking hats and has his hair curled up.
Hmmm, come to think of it, that's a description of Ronald McDonald.
Ah well...the desperation of those folks is always mind boggling.
I hope they get their schools. They need all the help that they can enlist if you ask me.
