What’s with this sudden wave of Jews attacking paintings in museums?
Timur Serebrykov, a guard at the Carnegie Museum Of Art in Pittsburg, was caught on a surveillance camera using a key to cut up a painting by Ms. Vija Celmins titled "Night Sky #12.”

Serebrykov is from from Azerbaijan. I presume he’s Jewish, because Azerbaijan crawls with Jews, and Serebrykov is listed as a Jewish name here…
The news media says Serebrykov cut a “large vertical gash” into the painting, causing irreparable damage.
Maybe.
But since he’s a Jew, I wonder if he actually carved a swastika.

just out of curiosity, and please be honest with me, are you yourself Jewish? (for Kryptic only)
No I am not Jewish. Nor has anyone on my father's or mother's side of my family ever been Jewish. I know this because I have traced my own geneology back to 1709. Nor have any of my siblings ever had Jewish spouses, girlfriends, boyfriends, etc.
I once corresponded with an individual that referred me to an article in which people wrote G-d. At that time I did not realize that Jews write "G-d." The individual was religious, so I wrote "G-d" in my e-mails to that individual, thinking the individual would take it as a sign of respect. The individual branded me Jewish. I explained my situation, but I was still permanently branded Jewish. So be it. Whatever.
And you asked because...why?
