History is in the making as I type: Rep. Dennis Kucinich is on the floor of the House reading 35 Articles of Impeachment against President George W. Bush.

At last!!!!!

We've waited years to find one Member of Congress brave enough to stand up for our Constitution, for which generations of Americans have fought and died. We are thrilled and honored that Dennis Kucinich has chosen to be that one genuine patriot.

We congratulate him on his historic leadership, and pledge to do everything in our power to persuade the House to adopt all 35 Articles and put George W. Bush on trial before the Senate of the United States, exactly as the Founding Fathers wanted.

We can be sure Kucinich will come under furious attack by the White House, the Republican Party, the Corporate Media, and even Bush Democrats. So let's inundate Congress with emails and calls (202-224-3121) showing our full support for Rep. Kucinich's Articles of Impeachment:

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your constant support throughout this long and historic struggle.

AP posted a short blurb about Kucinuch’s call for impeachment, but the big propaganda outlets declined to carry it, such as CNN and MSNBC. (CBS News online carried it, to its credit.) Reuters mentioned it, so it’s big news in Europe.

Kucinich spent five hours reading 35 articles of impeachment.

He knows it’s useless and it could have been much shorter, but he read it into the Congressional record for future historians.

If anyone’s interested, here are his charges…

Kucininch must be facing a tough re-election battle in Cleveland, so he's opting to show some spine and impress gullible voters.

Maybe he'll sic the DHS on his opponent, like he did in his primary battle.

the ones who need to be slung from tight ropes by their necks are his handlers. Bush is a popinjay, and a defunct one at that. I want to see Chertoff, the Roths, and some of these other garbage pail kids dangling from nooses.

Pelosi and most everyone else was gone by the time Kucinich finished.  The guy holding the gavel read the rules regarding articles introduced by members other than the speaker or majority leader(?)  I think Pelosi has two days to "notice" the articles or they will go away.

This is a well calculated political move.  The timing of this move is to displace Hillary Clinton from the ticket.  Impeachment not is likely but this move could give ole crafty K a much needed boost..
