"They don't want us to stay on our land. But we won't leave. We'll die here. It's ours."

That's what the Palestinian woman said after being hospitalized for three days because some rotten "Israeli settlers" have beat the hell out of her, leaving her with a shattered cheeckbone. Not just that but they beat her husband and her son with baseball bats. What'd that woman do? Utterly nothing!!!

And guess what? The Israeli police, though promised to investigate this incident, did nothing. Why? Because their job, exclusively, involves  protecting Israeli settlers from Palestinians. The poor guys don't have the "jurisdiction" to protect Palestinians from Israeli settlers which means they can do nothing about what happened to old woman. Well, I think the Palestinians firstly need protection from the Israeli police and then the Israeli settlers.

Here is the video of the incident:

But what happened on Sunday was nothing compared to the "Big Plan" Israel's been carrying for a long time. According to Dr. Ilan Pappe, a Jewish academic who slams Israeli occupation, Israel has been practising organized ethnic cleansing in Palestine since its very existence.

The second one there is the drunk settler gloating about the pharisites killing of Jesus, and being proud of it.

That is really thoughtful of you.

Ahmed Ismail | Sat, 2008-06-14 13:39

Hey Qrswave. I noticed that "whatreallyhappened.com" has referred to "MY" post about the Palestinian woman who got beat by Israeli settlers using DesertPeace as the source of the news story. I know that DesertPeace referred to my blog as the source but don't you think the story should be linked to its true source?

I know that you have contacts at whatreallyhappened. Could you help me out here?

Ahmed Ismail | Sat, 2008-06-14 15:48

MR sometimes links to sources that themselves got the story from other sources.

It's happened to me - at WRH and other sites.

It doesn't happen often, but occassionally it does.

No big deal.

It's the information that counts.

As long as it gets out there, it's all good.

I totally agree that what's important is spreading the word but I thought that if the news story were posted on WRH, that would increase the viewers of my blog and, may be, my blog will become, you know, popular or something. Anyways, it's o.k. There will be lots of other interesting articles and I'm sure that many of them will be chosen to be posted on WRH, in shaa Allah. Thanx Qrswave. Have a nice day.

I wouldn't worry about it. Eventually these articles lead back to the source, and those who are interested in the article and would like to read more will eventually find your blog. MR does a great job of pulling together very diverse sources of info, and it is only natural that sometimes he won't pick up the first-hand account.
