Why CBS Evening News suck - Conditioning the Sheep to accept $4 a gallon as "wonderful"
Trying too hard being optimistic. Should be subtitled in fine print "Council on Foreign Relations approves this message." Katie Couric is the mouthpiece of Council on Foreign Relations (video proof) and she gets paid $15 million annually as U.S.'s highest paid news anchor to tell soothing lies to the viewing public.
American media is full of itself, as usual. Katie is a media whore, so are the news reporters, directors and producers within CBS News.

CBS "news"??
No offense Nepos, but of course CBS sucks. All US media sucks and it is always in a perpetual state of conditioning Americans for this or that. I watch US "news" every night to hear what the American people are being told... not to hear "news"... because any "news" item that comes on CBS or other US channels, has already been seriously broadcast on various decent news channels around the world long before CBS broadcast it. US media might show Americans the same picture other world channels broadcast, but it will invent another story to go with it. US "news" channels are good for one purpose only: entertainment. Look at yesterday for example, while the whole world was addressing various important real news items, US media was fixed on Senator Edward's penis and discussing it as though it was some kind of holy penis. Listening to all those "shocked" news anchors, you'd imagine that Americans were saints... and you might even forget the sex crimes that happen within the US army for example or by the US army toward the Iraqi and Afghani civilians and little children.
The best of US media sucks. It's so manipulative, fake and limited... and nobody takes it seriously but the Americans. Of course CBS sucks...

What passes for news the last 10 years, is nothing more than tabloid bullshit distraction!! No need to be sorry for pointin' that out. Most of their lies are done by sheer omission and distraction; a complete direliction of their duty to tell the truth!! We know they are TRAITORS and WAR-CRIMINALS, and now everyone else will find out too.
I haven't watched TV for a long time; it flashes, flickers and tittilates like a hypnotic strobe light-idiot box, and has the effect of making me really mad, so i gave it up.
