IT JUST DOESN'T WORK THAT WAY, FELLAS.

 The soul records everything worthy.  Can't shake off the bad stuff, especially if there is no great feeling of genuine remorse, and a plan to undo or alleviate the mean-spirited deeds while on the planet.  

Pfffffft!  And they say they are more intelligent than everyone else!

I did watch the apartment yesterday and I really enjoyed it.

I got a real kick out of the scene where Jack Lemmon was Channel surfing with that giant "remote" on that ancient B&W tv. Even back in 1960 they were dumping the commercials!

I can see where Fred McMurray would try to stay away from that type of part. Tht movie was a real window into workplace sexual harassment by executives at that time period.

Shades of those witch doctors on the Bight of Benin or Dahomey, who pound wrought iron nails into wooden statues to eliminate sins. Very artful and crafty and you can always keep it on the coffee table. The kosher chicken bit is just plain disgusting, though what can you expect from people who practice circumcision? I suppose the basic idea of all such schemes is to help one remember not to do evil deeds (like abusing living creatures). On the other hand, many of us eat chickens to banish... hunger.

In the early 70s I recall only watching a few episodes, those with John Astin, Joan Crawford come to mind,  and a couple of others whose celebrity I can't remember.

And I certainly never saw the one with "John Boy".  

I watched all the parts.  THANKS! 

Again, most of our planet is very primitive indeed.  There are too many people who still think "war" [ the actual occupying and bullying of other nations who cannot defend themselves, and the by far greater ratio of slaughter of women and children to soldiers going on continually]  is good for the economy.

The US and THEM war cries / mentality.

Which has always caused me to wonder....

Why do we on earth care about other life in the Universe, when we don't care about the people who live an ocean away from us?
