Jesse Jackson has been no friend to the Obama campaign. When he has piped in it has been apparently for the purpose of creating racial discord. It appears he isnt done trying to split the electorate... Jackson probably made his comments to Rupert Murdoch's New York Post to try to hurt the Obama campaign by splitting off the Jewish vote, for a nice fat wad of Zionist cash...what else does he have going on? He is irrelevant these days, and he's probably chapped ass about it.

PREPARE for a new America: That's the message that the Rev. Jesse Jackson conveyed to participants in the first World Policy Forum, held at this French lakeside resort last week.
He promised "fundamental changes" in US foreign policy - saying America must "heal wounds" it has caused to other nations, revive its alliances and apologize for the "arrogance of the Bush administration."
The most important change would occur in the Middle East, where "decades of putting Israel's interests first" would end.
Jackson believes that, although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they'll lose a great deal of their clout when Barack Obama enters the White House.

| The New York Post reported Tuesday that the Rev. Jesse Jackson said the United States will rid itself of years of "Zionist" control under an administration headed by Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama.
The daily quoted the veteran civil rights leader on Tuesday as having said that although "Zionists who have controlled American policy for decades" remain strong, they will lose a much of their clout when Obama enters the White House. |

It's certainly a fair guess as to why he's spewing this sort of talk now of all times and through the New York Post of all outlets.
We never heard a word out of Jackson (correct me if I'm wrong) when "zionists" were murdering women and children in the streets of Lebanon in the summer of 2006, or as they continue to do so regularly in Gaza and the West Bank.
So, why now Jesse, do you speak out against zionists?
Knowing Obama's zionist ass-kissing tendencies, I'm sure he will reject Jackson's attempts to speak on his behalf.
Notwithstanding his motives for doing it, I'm glad the story ran. The more people hear the term "zionism," which is now approaching nazi proporations in its stigma, the more people will want to learn about it.
Obviously, the more investigating they do, the more they'll grow to despise zionism and the sooner we'll be rid of that wretched ideology of hate.
