there are youtube videos of him sitting in a garden somewhere in southern england, looking unusually fit compared to the tub of lard he used to be, and saying that he is the messiah. I shall dig one out and post it, and put "Shayler was drugged" on it -- because it is pretty well known that he really did like getting stoned and tripping, anyway. Someone could very easily have fed him increasing doses of any of a range of things that would push him right into schizophrenia, as seems to have happened -- and another secret services touch, they are looking after him nicely and keeping him well and happy, to judge by these vids.
All the wars in the world at the time were: Lebanon, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
Gibson was quoted as saying: "The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Note that he did not say: "All the Jews are responsible..."
The Iraq war and Afghanistan were caused by the the israel lobby. The provocation that made the US go batsh*t crazy and start attacking the world was 911. 911 was caused by Mossad/israel. The israeli invasion of israel was caused by israel. israel is the Jewish state. Since the Jewish state caused all the wars in the world, the Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world. QED
wanted to point that you are using the EXACT same linguistic subterfuge uitlized by the Israeli state to found their illegal hold on the occupied terroritories.
your example:
"Gibson was quoted as saying: "The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." Note that he did not say: "All the Jews are responsible...""
The Zionist instance:
Resolution 242 didn't specify all the territories, it reads: "The territories..."
The irony of it all,

UN Resolution 242
1. Affirms that the fulfillment of Charter principles requires the establishment of a just and lasting peace in the Middle East which should include the application of both the following principles:
(i) Withdrawal of Israel armed forces from territories occupied in the recent conflict;
Here it is obvious that israel is to withdraw from the territories occupied in the recent conflict. If the territories became occupied "in the recent conflict", then the isrealis are to withdraw. Putting "all" in would be extraneous. It would not change the meaning of the area from which the israelis are to withdraw.
On the other hand, if Mel Gibson says "The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world." That would have a different meaning from saying "All the Jews are responsible for the wars in the world."
So I am not "engaging in the exact same linguistic subterfuge utilized by the israeli state".
I think it was on this blog that I read a story about Palestinians who reported IDF soldiers knocking on their doors, and calling themselves "the Jews".
You can't have your soldiers calling themselves "the Jews", and a country proudly calling itself "the Jewish state", and then scratch your head and wonder why "the Jews" are blamed for that country's actions.
If one objects to another referring to israel as "the Jews", then one might want to rethink the idea of a Jewish state.
I think I may have reversed it - but the point still stands. The Israeli linguistic argument is that if territories was modified by "the" then a totality would have been indicated. However, since the language is merely, "territories" then the language shows a lack of specificity therefore, Israel is free to annex any areas it deems necessary to maintain a safe border.

If the resolution is ordering: "Withdrawal of Israel armed forces from territories occupied in the recent conflict", then israel would have to withdraw from any territories that their armed forces were not occupying prior to the recent conflict. That is the plain language.
Adding "the" doesn't change anything. Watch: "The withdrawal of the israel armed forces from the territories occupied in the recent conflict (the)." All those "the"s and nothing.
Mel Gibson should go over there and open up a can of whoop-ass, just like in Lethal Weapon 6.
