Bush to seek diplomatic presence in IranThe Bush administration will announce in mid-November, after the presidential election, that it intends to establish the first U.S. diplomatic presence in Iran since the 1979-81 hostage crisis, according to senior Bush administration officials.

If this is true, it's a huge step towards lowering the attack dog rhetoric.
It is also a good swift kick in the groin to ziostan at a time when they are reeling from world opinion that views them as the tapeworms of the planet (apologies to all hard working tapeworms).

If Obama does win and the thugs don't steal another election, with Bush making this announcement, it looks like the feces will hit the rotary oscillator between November 5 and the 24th.

Unfortunately, the Dick is still around. The Dick returned from Azerbaijan some weeks ago very disappointed that his Nabucco pipeline deal went downhill after the Turkish-Azeri president (I use the word president very lightly here since he just got re-elected by 89.6% lol), Ilham Aliev, didn't even meet him at the airport! It was only after some hours when they met up and, appartently, the Dick was very disappointed in the meeting because he did not stay for the planned dinner.
The Dick now has his interest set on Armenia as a possible transit route for Nabucco Zhid pipeline instead of the old route through unstable Georgia, which also makes any pipeline from Azerbaijan to Europe run longer through Georgia, and shorter through either Iran or Armenia.
