From the Financial Times, Deutschland.

As a motive for the action the Swiss-Italian crook's duet gives repayment. Helg S. wanted to take revenge for the destiny of his Jewish relatives in the third empire: His grandfather has been deported as a forced laborer to Germany, writes "La Repubblica".

The gigolo and the multi-millionaire

The richest woman of Germany who was blackmailed Quandt heiress Susanne Klatten, for months with compromising admissions. In January she put charge - and exposed herself with it to the risk of an exposure.

The BMW and Altana principal shareholder Susanne Klatten has become a victim of a million extortion. The 43-year-old Quandt heiress had dripped to herself at five-star hotels several times with a Swiss and had been blackmailed from this afterwards with compromising photos.

Susanne Klatten had put in January, 2008 charge because of deception and extortion at the public prosecutor's office of Munich - and had exposed herself with it to the risk that her private life is pulled in the general public. The multi-millionaire who counts as reserved and general public-shy and lives in Munich is married and has three children at the teenager's age.

Klatten counts with a respected property of about 13 Bn. euros as the richest woman of Germany. She is the daughter of Herbert Quandt and his third Mrs. Johanna. After the death of the father in 1982 Klatten inherited together a large part of the property of the industrialist's family with her brother Stefan. Today is Klatten principal shareholder of the BMW in whose securities she holds 46 percent together with mother Johanna and brother Stefan.

There was the first arrest in this extortion case already in January, however, now only the backgrounds come to light: According to the information the Italian newspaper "Il Giornale" Klatten got to know the Swiss gigolo Helg S. in summer, 2007. Between August and October she met him several times at five-star hotels in Munich and Monte Carlo. What she did not anticipate: Their meetings became secret from the Italian accomplice of the Swiss, Ernano B., filmed. For it quartierte he to itself mostly in an adjoining room one.

Up to now the investigators guaranteed 1.7 Mil. euros. In addition, they confiscated ten deluxe cars, under it Lamborghinis, Ferrari and Rolls Royce, as well as two villas and an apartment house. They should have been acquired by the blackmailed money. The blackmailers should have brought a part of the paid money already out of the country and have invested in Egypt and South America, report Italian media. However, from the supposedly compromising admissions every track is absent up to now.

As a motive for the action the Swiss-Italian crook's duet gives repayment. Helg S. wanted to take revenge for the destiny of his Jewish relatives in the third empire: His grandfather has been deported as a forced laborer to Germany, writes "La Repubblica".

If the Quandt family thinks they've gotten a taste of extortion, they're in for a BIG surprise, as the swift and sure hands of the "Kosher Nostra" are now setting them up for a real shakedown.

A few million euros will be chump change by the time these professionals get done.

A programme by the German public broadcaster, ARD, in October 2007 described in detail the role of the Quandt family businesses during the Second World War. As a result four family members announced, on behalf of the entire Quandt family, their intention to fund a research project in which a historian will examine the family's activities during Hitler's dictatorship[4].
