Every Bit Counts - A Tribute to Good People and Good Deeds

I haven't blogged in earnest for such a long time that some of you might have thought that I gave up.

I haven't.

I've just stepped back to think... to live... to love... to spread the word in person...

Sometimes, I wish I could do it all...think about everything, live several lives, love everyone I meet, and blog about it all...

But, alas...like everyone else I'm only human and my time is limited.

This is why with every passing minute I grow to appreciate more the power of numbers...not in and of themselves, or for the sake of counting things that have no value...like for example "dollars"...

but for the difference they can make when counting things that do have value...like good people...and good deeds.

one lesson I've learned during the last two years of sabbatical is that our strength is in numbers and every little bit counts.

when life seems plagued by bad news...greed, selfishness, needless poverty and illness, murder, mayhem and overall chaos, don't let it overwhelm you.

remember that just like the bogus "US gross national debt counter" (to the lower right of your screen) increases by the split second allegedly adding infinite amounts of indebtedness to ours and our posterity's lives, another unrecognized counter silently counts something very real in the background...

it counts good deeds ... an overwhelming number of which take place every minute of the day.

but no one notices.

so people take the good for granted and assume that there's no hope...

that's when they give up and that much more hope flies out the window....

Never give up.

Never lose hope.

Don't worry about the big picture or the masterplan

Have faith that Someone Bigger Than Us All is coordinating

Do whatever good you can in your daily life, however little it may be

Because in the battle between good and evil, our strength is in numbers and every little bit counts.

I am not american, i was not born in USA. I have some years living in this country, so  I can judge USA a lot better than a person born in USA.

But i feel that the majority of american citizens are sad, depressed and melancholic (Except the upper and bourgeoise middle classes).

I think that the cause of why the great majority of oppressed american citizens are so sad, is the egocentric, individualist, architecture of most U.S. cities.  I mean the way that this country is built, and the system of daily lives of most lower class americans who are the great majority, without access to colleges, univesities, without access to doctors and health.

I see a lot of lack of opportunities in this country, since every thing is so *privatized* most americans are deprived of enjoying life and participating in a normal lifestyle.  So the victims of the american plutocratic system in this country have to work like animals, and retreat to their houses, and nothing else.  A life like this can kill anybody.

Here is a link about a former Ukranian citizen who moved to USA, and who said that life in USA  leads to misery and suffering:

..what temperature is the proletariat?

After being worked to death, some of them could have approached as low as ?71.2 ? (?96.2 ?). And a life like that could kill anyone!

[Those temperature characters display in the preview, but not in the comment.]

After being worked to death, some of them could have approached as low as -71.2 C (-96.2 F). And a life like that could kill anyone!

Thank you QRSwave, for the reminder!! Saving yourself is the no 1 priority so you have the strength to help with the larger battles. When everyone wakes up and saves themselves, the powers that be won't have any power, and the will eat their young to keep going.

"Bring me my broadsword, and clear understanding"

Ian Anderson, Jethro Tull

These words say it all, be of clear understanding of your enemies intentions, so you may apply the necessary resistance or force against their attacks.
