Mumbai attacks : Ex-ISI chief Gul terms Post report ‘nonsense’
Press Trust of India, Islamabad, Dec 7 2008
Former ISI chief Hamid Gul today dismissed as “nonsense” reports in the Washington Post that Pakistan has agreed to arrest and hand him over to India in connection with the probe into the Mumbai terror attacks. He told a private Indian channel, NDTV, by phone from Rawalpindi:
It is nonsense, it is disinformation, because Condoleezza Rice and America want my name to be included. They don’t like this loud voice in which I condemn them, their aggression, their oppression, their invasion in Afghanistan and lies over Iraq. I expose them: their 9/11 was a fraud, it was an inside job. I want to say to the Indian public and the Indian leadership: please don’t fall into their trap, look at what they have done to us, they are deceitful, and they will use you for their own purpose.
The former ISI head claimed that the US now wanted Indian troops to be “committed” to Afghanistan “because they have run short of their own troops and NATO is pulling out.” On his links with the Pakistani spy agency, Gul said: “I left the ISI 20 years ago … I have no contact with ISI.” Asked whether he will cooperate with India's probe into the deadly attacks, Gul said he is ready to help if his government tells him to do so. However, he said New Delhi should show “more sagacity” in dealing with Islamabad.

After Benazir Bhutto was assassinated, Gul also came out and blamed Mossad, saying the hit was done in an "extremely sophisticated and professional manner."

He seems to be a little more 'truthy,' which would make him an attractive target for smears.
And he's probably on the short list of people Israel and the White House would like to shut up.
Can't have someone like Gul speaking truths about 9/11 and the Mumbai attacks, that will just confuse some and make them break formation by not marching in lockstep with FUX and CNN news bulletins.
He'd better be careful, or he'll find himself on a CIA jet to Gitmo or the victim of another MOSSAD/CIA car bomb.
When as head of the ISI he totally supported US policy in Afghanistan: Arming the most extreme members of the Mujaheddin, over more moderate fractions.......Gulbeddin Hekmatyar, Haqqani et al.
During the 1990's he publicly supported the Taliban, which he should have known as an intelligence insider, was/is a tool of American geo-strategy in the region.
He has publicly defended al-Qaeda, in the Pakistani media, which he should know is a fake front of Western and Israeli intelligence, as a Intelligence insider in Pakistan.
He since retirement has joined a Islamist Party in Pakistan.
He represents ALL THAT IS WRONG WITH THE PAKISTAN MILITARY TOP BRASS.............THEY SERVE AMERICAN GEO-STRATEGY IN THE REGION WITHOUT QUESTION, AND THEN IN RETIREMENT THEY SQUEEL WHEN THE AMERICANS DO THE JEW DOUBLE-CROSS.
Gul is a punk, a moderately educated fanatic. Mossad probably had nothing to do with Benazir... That was her husband who is now president.
Glad Mostaque joined us to set things straight.

just tell us what you think, guys. One side or the other, Zardari's govt or the ISI, is engaged in destabilisation manoevres, so that the US can declare Pak a failed state and move in on it. The other side is trying to prevent this, and maintain Pak independence from US. Now, which is which?
