Who's Really Behind Those Somali "Pirates?"
In early 2007, the US was attempting to establish "Africom" in some African nation. About the same time, the Islamic Courts Union (ICU), which had ruled over Somali, had virtually eradicated piracy.
Piracy is only a symptom of the power vacuum inside Somalia. The only period during which piracy virtually vanished was during the six months of rule by the Islamic Courts Union in the second half of 2006. After the ICU was overthrown by US-backed Ethiopian troops in January 2007, piracy quickly re-emerged, with the average ransom tripling over this period.
Lo and behold, the ICU gets overthrown in a US backed coup and the piracy takes off. During this time, the US keeps negotiating with various African countries, in the hopes of strong-arming one of those nations to the point they'll let the US establish that mega-base to fight "terror."
The negotiations fail and the US establishes its "Africom" HDQ's in Stuggart, Germany.
It doesn't take a genius to see what's going on in regards to this "Africom" base. The world's REAL Axis of Evil, Washington, Israel and England, are salivating over the rich mineral resources of Africa and want desperately to get ahold of that continent's oil and natural gas fields, which are in abundance.
They'll keep using piracy and various false-flags in and around Africa, to scare those good people into crying for help from the same murderous thugs that perpetuated the original violence.
They'll keep ramping up the violence until the UN is pushed to intervene, passing some lame ass resolution that gives the "Shock and Awe" crowd what it needs; some type of legal fig leaf to cover up their true intent.
The Somali "pirates" acknowledge getting foreign help, as this article shows. Help from Tel Aviv and London?
Who gives them the info to point out what ships to hijack and which ones are carrying lucrative cargo?
Morocco appears interested in hosting an Africom base. Look for "aL Qaeda" types to mysteriously appear in that country, which will give the US the excuse to rush to Morocco's "rescue."
It's obvious that the world thinks of Somalia as some type of dumping ground, as this article shows
"Many European, US and Asian shipping firms – notably Switzerland's Achair Partners and Italy's Progresso – signed dumping deals in the early 1990s with Somalia's politicians and militia leaders. This meant they could use the coast as a toxic dumping ground. This practice became widespread as the country descended into civil war.
Nick Nuttall of the UN Environment Programme said, "European companies found it was very cheap to get rid of the waste."When the Asian tsunami of Christmas 2005 washed ashore on the east coast of Africa, it uncovered a great scandal. Tons of radioactive waste and toxic chemicals drifted onto the beaches after the giant wave dislodged them from the sea bed off Somalia. Tens of thousands of Somalis fell ill after coming into contact with this cocktail. They complained to the United Nations (UN), which began an investigation.
"There are reports from villagers of a wide range of medical problems such as mouth bleeds, abdominal hemorrhages, unusual skin disorders and breathing difficulties," the UN noted.
Who are the REAL pirates in this situation? The ones trying to feed their families or the nations dumping toxic chemicals off the coast of Somalia and waging proxy wars against that country?

That Mike Whitney article is really important
I'm glad you included a link to it - I was going to go and find it wherever it was and post one myself, otherwise.
Winning the hearts and minds of the people
If we remember right, it seems that we found a people in need in Djibouti, and went in there and paid a lot for infrastructure and then put in a military base, so CIA could stop all the terrorists working in the region. The military brought in the Christians, and the last we heard they were "winning the hearts and minds of the people." The next thing was the war in Somalia.
Delamer Duverus then took us to traning exercises with Pacific countries, including Canada, for a possible war in Africa, "but we don't see this happening for 18 years" said one senior officer. Plan ahead, don't they.
Go with God!
