"When Israel is attacked, the United States must continue to stand strongly with its friend and democratic ally."
According to Pelosi, "Peace between Israelis and Palestinians cannot result from daily barrages of rocket and mortar fire from Hamas-controlled Gaza. Hamas and its supporters must understand that Gaza cannot and will not be allowed to be a sanctuary for attacks on Israel."
Background: Warmongering for Zionism
Speaker Pelosi, Speaker Itzik talk tough on Iran at Hadassah conclave
...two of the most influential female politicians in the United States and Israel stood on the stage, greeted by the cheers of more than 1,800 delegates to the 94th national Hadassah convention.
Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House of Representatives, and Knesset Speaker Dalia Itzik had telling messages, embroidered with some warm personal touches.
Pelosi let it be known that she was a mother of five and grandmother of seven, and later noted, "I have more Jewish grandchildren than anyone."
"We must take the madmen in Tehran seriously," Itzik urged. "Their nuclear plans threaten not only Tel Aviv, but also New York and Los Angeles."
Pelosi called for "far-reaching and tighter sanctions that recognize that Iran is a danger to the entire world," adding that global security "demands that Iran give up its nuclear ambitions."
Further background:

"When Israel is attacked, the United States must continue to stand strongly with its friend and democratic ally."
There are problems with this statement made by a woman who has obviously stronger sympathies towards Israel than to the country which stupidly elected her and fed her.
One problem is the term "friend" which in all other contexts represent mutual, reciprocated feelings. Not so in this asymetrical relationship in which one party (not the US) can deceive, defraud and kill people belonging to the other without any fear of reprisals or risk of revision of the "friendly" relationship. Israel may be the friend of the USA, but USA is certainly not Israel's friend, it is its hostage!
In respect of democracy my impression is that both parties are faring dismally these years.
Then we have the statement "When Israel is attacked ..."
That scenario has indeed not been relevant for several decennia when consistently Israel has been the aggressor. The statement obviously refers to the slight possibility that Israel might expect some kind of retaliation to its acts of aggression. Then of course the USA will be "morally obliged" to help out its dear friend. As if the concept of moral had any meaning for either party.
If Ms. Pelosi is looking for madmen she might not have to look as far away as Tehran. Tel Aviv would do. Tehran is a signatory to the non-proliferation agreement, and UN supervision has not provided any basis for suspicion that it does not comply with its international obligations. Israel has not accepted any kind of international accountability of this kind but has decided to clandestinely build up one of the biggest arsenals of nuclear weapons which it now threatens to use agains "friend" and foe.
This special friend of the USA has now decided to celebrate Hanukkah by launching a new volley of air delivered (and US financed) mass murder, which can only be described as an act of genocide.
The international outrage led to an honest effort to stop the butchery by way and a resolution in the UN. The US, based on this unique friendship, or rather love for Israel, as it blindly accept the crimes involved in the attack on ss Liberty, the devastating spying by Jonathan Pollard etc. has again decided that it owes Israel to support it in its crimes against humanity more than it owes its own people to live up to the very ideals on which the USA was built!
One way or the other, get rid of Nancy Pelosy and all other traitors in your mist and start afresh!
