The non-stop mantra from the various apologists for Israel’s latest warcrimes is that Israel has a right to defend itself from rocket attacks coming Gaza. On the surface, this is completely true. Looking deeper, it’s little more than sophistry and a rationale to further degrade and humiliate an already degraded and humiliated population. In searching the net, I wasn’t able to find a comparison between the rockets that Gaza is launching and what Israel replies with. So, here’s one comparison: Deep down, maybe Israelis are really afraid of a replay of the David-Goliath scenario?
