Re: Operation Whole Foods: GMO Bait & Switch
The only way to completely avoid GMO food is to grow your own food. This is not simply a product of corporate greed. It arises because there are billions of human mouths to feed, and GMO products make that possible.
Therefore, the problem with Whole Foods is not that they sell GMO food, but that the bastards lie about it, and charge higher prices accordingly.
As for California’s Proposition 37, I will be amazed if voters actually pass it next month. Voters are incredibly stupid. All the GMO producers need do is claim that labeling GMO products will make food more scarce and expensive, and the masses believe it. That’s what happened in Oregon. And if Prop 37 does pass by some miracle, then the corporations will simply have the FDA declare it illegal, since only FDA bureaucrats can make decisions about food labeling. The will of the voters does not matter.
The best thing we can do is to become as informed as possible, and make wise personal food choices.

Whole Foods has answered the claims made in this video in a blog post.

Going by the comments, people aren't buying it.
Re: Operation Whole Foods: GMO Bait & Switch
I have to say I don't blame them. Whole Foods' response is at best woolly and leaves way too much wriggle room.
