Arizona police officer executes man for telling him a warrant is needed

This is why you don't call the cops over a family argument. They are NOT your friends. They are NOT coming to help you. The second the police get called into a family matter it becomes a CPS matter, or the cops are going to kill your adult child. People need to learn to take a cool down period and deal with each other like adults rather than bowing to the nanny state, then acting suprised when something bad happens

Two words - addict cops. 

Unfortunately, they don't screen for addicts in this type of work.  Cops have a higher than average level of addiction, which explains most of the "bad apples" in this type of work.  The profession itself attracts addicts who, by their (somewhat brain damaged) condition need to exercise power over others.
