Greeks in Despair: Suicide rate record high

Athens has clinched a critical bond-swap deal with private creditors allowing Greece to narrowly escape default, opening the door for a bailout injection. Eurozone members were quick to rejoice what they called a major step to rescuing the debt-ridden country. But the parachute provides little optimism for the Greeks whose financial woes continue to snowball, as Tom Barton reports for Russia Today.

RT spouts the standard bankers’ lies.

“Bailout of Greece.” (Only rich bankers get bailed out.)

“Many Greeks grudgingly accept the need for austerity.” (No they don’t. “Austerity” is a scam imposed by the bankers.)

“Greece’s road to recovery will be long and painful.” (Greece will NEVER recover unless it dumps the euro currency.)

“Greece has been saved from default.” (Greece is already in default. It owes far more than it can pay.)

Yes the Greek suicide rate is climbing. Before the depression, Greece had the lowest suicide rate in Europe. Now Greece has the highest.

Fortunately for the bankers, Greeks are just like everyone else in Europe and North America. Everyone is on his own. Lost your house, your job, your money, and your health? Too bad. As long as it hasn't happened to me (yet) I don't care.
