Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign: Raymond Deane on the Dervish controversy & the statement by Irish Justice Minister

Following their cancellation of a tour of Israel, Cathy Jordan, lead singer with Irish traditional band Dervish cited an "avalanche of negativity" and "venom" directed at them on Facebook for doing so, wrongly and woefully implying that it emanated from campaigning human rights group, the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign who certainly brought it to their attention that there was an ongoing boycott of Israel and to cancel their tour as a consequence.

As is the case, no "venom" was directed at Dervish by people of conscience prior to the tour cancellation but unfortunately they were subjected to it afterwards by Zionists and their useful idiot fellow travellers.

As is his wont, Alan Shatter TD; Zionist and Minister for Justice, Equality and Defence jumped on the bashing bandwagon with baseless allegations of "cyber bullying" and more alarmingly a sinister attempt to link the IPSC to Osama Bin Laden and his followers: "The actions of the Irish Palestinian Solidarity Group (sic) and its associates have caught the attention of some of Osama Bin Ladens followers who now see Ireland as promising ground for support".
