Max is almost spot on, but I've yet to see him get to the nitty-gritty of the issue - that the problem is not criminals and fraudsters in our banking and financial systems, but that the banking and financial systems are inherently criminal and fraudulent.  Ditto for Konstantin Gurdieff.  When these guys start talking about...

  • the interest-bearing debt-based nature of what we call "money" and the fact that an interest-free currency issued by the state would go a long way towards turning our economy around;
  • the privately-owned central banks who issue this debt who filch a large slice of our work-product purely for the privilege of running a printing press; and
  • banks on the street corner who when lending increase the money supply by literally creating money out of nothing, and who charge handsomely for this conjuring trick.

then I might just have a little more respect for them.

Of the other guests, the "journalist" Laura Noonan has to be the most irritating.  Not only is she rude, clueless and arrogant, but she is an obvious shill for the fascist economic policies of the pro-bailout, pro-penury, pro-bank bondholders and pro-ECB political so-called "elite".
